Excellent quality
The quality of the boat is first rate. Excellent fit and finish. The only drawback is the black dye used on the boat will make your socks and legs black. I have worn these boots 10 times in the past couple months and they still bleed black dye on my white socks. Overall excellent boot for the price

Good Boots
They are good boots, my only complaint is that they are not comfortable with the inserts that come with them. They are comfortable now that I bought inserts.

Not for me
Let me start off by saying that the leather seems to feel genuine. It really is a solid boot. HOWEVER, don't believe these posts that say that the boot runs big. It doesn't run small but it doesn't run big. Not sure if they stretch after use but out of the box, they run true to the size and a bit stiff as they should. They're brand new. Anyway, they don't make these boots in half sizes after an 11 so if you're an 11.5 like I am, you'll have to get an 11 or a 12. I went with the 11. The boot was not difficult to put on or take off. However, once they were on, they felt weird. There was room in the toe box but then got narrow as it worked its way back until it got to the heel. Than it felt lose in the heel area. I'm going to return these boots and more than likely not get another pair. I know that if I go with a 12, I'm going to have to improvise and get insoles, thicker socks, etc... at which point they no longer constitute as a "deal." Also, be advised, if you're not use to wearing a heel boot, this is going to feel really odd. I used to wear durango in the 90's religiously then I started wearing rubber soul boots without heels. I don't think I'm going to be able to get used to these. If and only if I decide to exchange these, I'll problably go with their engineer boot. Hope this helps.
