The authors know what they are talking about ....
I run the website [...] for anaesthesia trainees and often need to verify facts. This book is excellent to CORRECTLY understand the physical principles behind the apparatus used. I cannot comment on how useful it is for exams, and perhaps exam going candidates will hopefully write some reviews. So if you are keen to get your understanding of physics right, this is an excellent book.

THE physics and equipment book for the primary
I wish this book was out when I sat the primary. Patrick Magee is an examiner at the college, he gives good, fluent lectures and knows the syllabus inside out. Don't bother with Davis (the blue physics book) or the Al-Shaikh equipment book, unfortunately these two books no longer go into enough depth nor do they cover the breadth of the syllabus even though they have pretty pictures and a nice lay-out. You are better off buying one book that covers BOTH the physics and equipment aspect of the syllabus than one for each.
