Japanese Natural Wooden Tableware Sets of 5-pieces (1 Spoon, 1 Chopsticks, 1 Fork, 1 Chopsticks Holder, 1 Tableware Bag) (Q151012)

I really enjoy using these utensils; lightweight, sturdy and easy to clean. I have been using them almost daily since they arrived a month ago. It takes no time at all to run them under hot water with a bit of dish soap to keep them clean. I don't think they would stand up well to a dishwasher because of the wrapped handles.I love that these do not make the same irritating sounds as regular silverware, when scraping the last bits from bowl. My grandson,who has sensory issues, chooses this fork and spoon over plastic or silverware.The only drawback is that the pouch is a bit small when I wish to wrap the utensils in a paper towel to keep the pouch from getting damp or dirty.

These are supposed to be for chopstick stands, but I plan to use them as knife rests - they are very cute and go very well with a fall themed table setting and Thanksgiving tables.

I bought these to use as a brush rest while painting. They would be perfect but they slide a lot and don’t really serve MY purpose. But I would think that using them to lay chopsticks on, the same problem would occur. Adding a piece of felt or rubber to the bottom could maybe stop this from happening but I haven’t tried.

The bag is beautiful and arrived as pictured, but the seller/manufacturer needs quality control. Wood stain should be dark with light colored cord wrapping. What's the point of online shopping if the photos and description can't be detailed and accurate? The color scheme depicted in the seller's photos is what sold me on this utensil set. The chop stick holder stand seems to be correct color of stain. Inside edges of fork tongs should be covered with stain as well. Even though I’ve purchased only two utensil sets on Amazon, both have been defective. Check my other review for the wheat plastic utensil set. Three times the charm maybe? We’ll see.

They are awesome - pretty wood grain, great handles. The spoon is perfect size but it would have been nicer for the fork to be the same size and weight as the spoon - but over all I give it 5 stars. Chopsticks are great but they shouldn't use the sticker w/gummy/glue on the chopsticks - should just use a tie .. I used avocado oil to get the gummy sticker off completely. Still giving 5 stars - the price, the 'material 'envelope', the pretty wood color on both the spoon and fork...and the holder for the chopsticks...

My daughter loves this item. The chopstick stand is a cute addition. She says the spoon is a little big and cant really fit it in her mouth when eating. The utencils washes well but I have some sanitary logistics problems with bag so I have her wrap the dirty utencils in a wax paper before putting back in the bag. I dont know maybe I need to buy more so I can wash the bag after each use?

The set looks and feels great, I enjoy using them about any time I eat! Only thing I might have to say about this set; the grip design could use a little work, just something to hold it together better (the grip string stuff is pretty much just wrapped around the handle, nothing a little hot glue can't deal with); and I really love the cloth piece, but a couple of times while I carry it, the little fish piece falls out from the corners (might there be a better way for the cloth to wrap together?). Nevertheless, nothing about the set is bad or annoying, I love and enjoy just having it!

Fork especially is a bit rough and i might have to sand inside the tines because there's a bit of a splinter just waiting to come off.... but good for the price. I bought it mostly for the pouch anyways, to go with the wrap I got for my bento box. It's a canvas type material and feels like it'll hold up well.
