I had this for one day, and the USB circuit exploded. There was a bang and smoke and two of our breakers went. I took the unit apart, there is a chunk of the voltage regulator and one the resistors missing from the USB circuitry and there is a a massive scorch on the bottom of the PCB and on the inside plastic casing.

Such an amazing item for such a low price. This extension has so many useful and ingenious functions that make it one of the best ones out there. The ability to stop power to the exact sockets and usb points you want is outstanding, and all the safety ratings on this product is also very re assuring. Combined with a 3m wire makes it a 5 ⭐️ item! Can even take on holiday as it has a small footprint. Definitely recommend.

Great product, I have been using it for just over a month and it's really useful to plug in USB leads and all UK electrical products. The USB lead aspect was my main interest in the product really, as well as the fact you can plug in multiple things to use at once as I had my iPad, iPhone, husbands phone, fan (with the current heat) and even my lamp all plugged in. Fingers crossed it stays working - I've had quite a few people impressed with its functions/all in one aspect to it and it looks cute as it has a different shape in comparison to most boring extension leads. Great overall product, only downside i would say is that the lead for the product itself is a little short, and my wires can look a little messy, But I suppose you'd get that even with standard extension leads. Other than that a great item to buy for all you multi use individuals who want everything in one place. 😊

I’m not really happy with these products. They are not very attractive and the moment you even slightly touch them they fall over. However the most annoying of all is that the cord length is shorter than specified and some of the USB ports don’t work at all!

Received the extension and plugged it in. I downloaded the smart life app and setup a family group using my email address.I then set the extension into pairing mode by following the instructions in the app under 'plugs' (turn it on for ten seconds, then off, then press on for 5 seconds then release I think).I then added new device under plugs within the app and it found it.I then added the smart life skill to the Alexa app and enabled it. At this point you need to set country to USA and enter your email address. I tried UK and a phone number and it doesn't work.Once enabled I got Alexa to search for the extension which it found, but only as a single device which I renamed to 'Extension'. At this point I was able to turn it on and off via voice but could only control the individual switches through the smart life app. I then got Alexa to scan again and it found another four devices (the three switches and the USB ports). I was then able to rename them and could then use voice commands to turn the switches on and off. I've occasionally had issues with the extension not turning off or on, but regardless the switches will ignore it's state and turn on.So it was a bit tricky to setup but it did work in the end. I now have three different things connected to it and can turn them on and off with my voice rather than scrabbling under the unit.... How lazy am I?I renamed the switches to 'tree lights', 'unit lights' and 'photo display' and was slightly amazed Alexa recognises these and turns them on or off when I say 'Alexa tree lights on'. I think I'll be playing with this for ages!

Arrived in good time, well packaged. This product is a " Must Have", in this day and age. I have pondered for many months on what type of extension lead to buy. After seeing this one, making many comparison's, found this type to be the best. It has 8 power points and the added extra of points for mobile and tablet. Will be handy when family visit too, everyone looks to find a place to charge up devices.Now, the one quiry I do have is, there was a green bendy "wand", with a scary lead plug in the box! Have no idea what that is for! Any ideas??Highly recommended.

Not the quality I was expecting feels quite cheap but is working well so far.

I really like this, it's made having a whole bunch of plugs look much better! Also, the spacing between plugs means those awkward or annoying plugs that don't like sitting side by side are not an issue.Also, the brick is decided into 2 sections, front and back. With a switch to control each. Meaning you can turn a set of devices off, while keeping others on. For me, I've got some LED lights and my router on the back ones, and they can be left on. While a switch for the front set mean power to my other things can be turned off. Smashing.
