This was purchased a year ago for two very aggressively chewers and although it’s seen better days, it’s really held up very well after a year. Our 80lb boy and 40lb girl love it! While chewing, small pieces break off, but I’ve never seen them break any large pieces off while chewing. This was expensive, but worth it if you have aggressive chewers.

My girl (A Chessie) chews like there’s no tomorrow! This is a very durable toy. She is able to get pieces off but they are pretty small. She spit them out most of the time but if she does swallow them the pieces are small enuf to pass and not get stuck. She is 10 and her teeth are perfect.

This 30 lb cattle dog loves it! The toy is a good weight and shape for her. It has held her interest for solo play more then other toys like this so I guess it's fun and tastes good. I find it has more of an odor than other rubber toys we have but it isn't very unpleasant. Just a little noticable.

The rubber is tough enough to handle some serious chewing but soft on his teeth. He’s been using it for a while now, and I can already tell his teeth look cleaner. Plus, it’s shaped like a cute gator, so it’s fun for him to play with. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a toy that’s both fun and helps with dental health!

Smells nice and is probably good for dogs teeth, but our aggressive chewer ripped pieces off pretty quickly. It does say nothing is indestructible, but this one didn't last as well as I hoped.

It is very durable especially for my 82 lb female Doberman who destroys toys within 20 minutes. She has had this one for a couple of months now and she loves it. And it is still intact. No hard surfaces all rubber.

My 45 pound sweet Bernedoodle girl is a complete toy assassin. Forget stuffed toys, soft fun latex toys, leather chews etc.. she can destroy a supposedly indestructible rubber chew toy in minutes until the gorilla arrived. I was a bit hesitant based on her crazy chewing abilities and the factor that she is more than 35 pounds. I gave it to her when I had my book club over to keep her busy and boy did it! She chewed non stop for two hours and only managed to chew off a few tiny bits of the head. A few dog moms who were there asked where to get one for their dogs too. I will be ordering another gorilla as a back up. Only negative is that treats are pretty impossible to get out once you put one in.

Very durable. No visible damage after being continually chewed. The hole is small enough that if I put a good-sized treat in there it won't come out easily and keeps my doodle busy forever! I did wash it first as it had a slight chemical smell, which solved the issue. I highly recommend it.

My dog wasn't into it at first but as soon as I put a treat in there, he was all over it. I love that it's cleaning his teeth while he's playing because he will never let us brush his teeth even though we've tried a few times. Only time will tell if it truly helps remove plaque/tartar.
