could be better
Way too expensive for what it is. Gaps around controller are sloppy as well as no available inside bracket to attach controller to. Instead you insert 2 screws to pry the unit in which in turn pushes against the controller trigger underneath and may damage the controller in time. Shipping was slow as well considering you have to pay additionally for it. Color is slightly off almost bluish compared to car dash. Just take your original panel yourself and modify it to slide your controller in. This should not cost more than $39

Bit pricey for what you get
Kind of let down by the price that you pay for this unit v.s. how i received this unit. Fortunately im mechanically inclined and have the tools to make it work..So first things first. I had my brake controller sitting on the table and opened this package my first reaction was the metal plate the controller slides through is upside down. Im all thats man but in a weak moment i broke down and looked at the directions. Turns out the directions are useless. To confirm my theory i snapped a pic and posted it on a tundra forum and they all confirmed aswell the metal plate was upside down.So after taking the plate off flipping 180° so that it was right side up, i try to slide my prodigy p2 controller in and it dont fit. So after several curse words i re-examine it only to find that the plastic isnt correctly trimmed and sticking out into the mounting area. So off comes the metal plate again. For the heck of it i placed the metal mount plate on it upside down just to see if the plastic that was in the way was still in the way and it was. So i get out the dremel and trim down 1/8" on the right hand so so the brake controller can fit in there. So then i get to the next issue. Securing the brake controller to the panel. Directions say to use the metal mount bracket along with screws provided to secure the controller in place. My problem is my brake controller never came with any metal mount bracket. Mine only came with a plastic hosuing the controller slid into and clipped in place. Fortunately i had a couple small 90° "L" brackets at the house. Unfortunately i have to go to the hardware store to pick up some washers first.

Is worth It!
When i bought the P3 i notice this item but was not exited about the price for it. After couple of months having the P3 on the left side i got tire of having it there b/c it always hit my knee. So i finally decide to buy the product and Honestly i like it looks great and no more hitting my knee. Looks factory made, set up is super easy. I use the regular screws the P3 came with.

This was a nice replacement for the trailer brake that came with my 2017 Toyota Tundra . (Which didn't work very well) I didn't want to take a chance on a trailer brake that might not stop me. So I purchased this for the P3 brake controller. One thing I didn't like was that you couldn't get the screws into the holes on the controller from the back. Although, It was tight enough so that the P3 stayed in place.

Easy install on a 2015 Tundra
I really like this product. It gave me a way to mount my Prodigy 3 without having to drill into my dash. Plus it conceals the controller and all of the wiring. $90 seemed a little pricy, but it was worth it.To install it, I just used a flat head screwdriver to pop the old one out. I slid the Prodigy through the front, connected the wire harness, shoved the wire harness in the dash and popped it in place. I also transferred the switches from the old panel to this one very easily.

Great!
Perfect fit for my 2014 Tundra Crewmax...simple to install. Note, you need to include the ground wire and the truck has a grounding screw right by the left side floor panel by the emergency brake. Worked like a charm for a OEM fit!

I kinda like it
Well, I really had high hopes for this item. I bought this along with a brand new P3 thinking "Great, I wont bump my knees on the controller"The slot doesnt fit the contours of the controller very well, and the instructions could use some work. A Quick link to a "How to Install" video would really help those who are not mechanically inclind. Great idea, but could use some work

Tundra 2014
Very hard to install P3 controller, had to use a Metal File to give clearance for controller. Found White connector plug for 2014 Tundra by Left Kick Panel.
