It's been for almost 8 years that i have been with a back lower pain since a had my c section, i tried everything, acupuncture, chiropractic, different creams, massage, but nothing help me, just comfort me for a little time. This product is amazing, my back pain is getting away, still hurting a little bit but nothing compare like i was before, im still doing it every day, highly recommended!

I've had lower back pain for years stemming from a driving job I had back in 2001; Due to aging and a variety of personal factors, it has gotten significantly worse over the past year. So, I've been looking for something to help alleviate the tightness in my back for months, when I saw this back stretcher I decided to give it a try - I had nothing to lose.The first time I laid out across the stretcher, I felt the tension in my vertebrae release - it was so awesome; the pain was gone! Since then, if I put the stretcher behind me when I sit on the couch or a chair - on the lowest arch adjustment - it keeps my back from tightening up. I alternate between using it and not using it when I sit, and between that and laying it out on the floor, with a higher arch adjustment - it really helps keep my tricky back from tightening again!The design of the stretcher includes an open space in the middle that your backbone fits between and some raised bumps on either side that kind of knead and massage your muscles along your spine. So I use the stretcher as a, well, back stretcher - but I have also done sit ups, curls and leg lifts with it supporting my lower back on the floor as well as using it to support my back when I sit. Being able to adjust it and readjust it helps a lot!And it comes with a couple of bonus massage balls - which are great! I am partial to the roller-style ball for working out muscle kinks in my back and shoulder; my wife likes when I roll the knobbier rubber massage ball across her shoulder and up and down her back!Altogether, this has been a very effective back stretcher and, as far as I am concerned, a bargain cost-wise because it does so much, but didn't cost an arm and a leg! I cannot recommend this back stretcher enough!

I didn't realize until after I received the lumbar stretcher that I cannot use it as my surgery, 11/2020, was a fusion. Then I had another surgery February 1, 2021 and was unable to get out in order to get the lumbar stretcher returned. Indeed I was just able to even look at it and after looking and reading instructions realized I am unable to use it due to my lumbar fusion. I am sorry and I would appreciate it if you would allow me to return it for a refund.Thank you,Betsy Thompson

The product itself is simply made with no unneeded bells and whistles but it's really good at what it does. There really isn't installation needed because you just pop in the board to your desired level of stretch (don't get overconfident and start at level 3 like I did because you WILL feel it, and what you feel will be pain) and you're set! I also recommend not leaving it in the holder after you're done using it because it is a flexible piece of plastic and it will kind of "mold" to that shape, making changing out the levels that much more difficult.I personally wasn't a fan of the nubs and actually tried to reverse the board piece but I could tell it wasn't as sturdy on that side so I switched it back--I think if you have a lot of muscle or weight it might feel nicer but it felt like it was jabbing me at first until I got used to it.The inclusion of the massage ball and the roller ball is also a big plus. The roller ball is cool to the touch and feels nice on sore muscles as well.I haven't yet gotten my father to use it but he's excited to try it because he has fibromyalgia and was once told by a doctor that he has the back of an 80-year-old at the age of 50. I think this will help him a lot with his flexibility, and its size makes it easy to store under a bed or in the closet when not in use. I can feel a difference in my posture now that I've used it for a few days now and I know it will help me in the long run when I start exercising again.

I've tried cushions, pillows, towels, clothes but this was the only thing that worked successfully to help keep my lower back in place and prevent pain. I used this for driving as the car seats are so terrible for anyone with back problems. I did have to get used to those rigid bumps piercing into my back but it was worth the trade off for me. They do break after a few months but they are cheap enough to buy more.

Ok, check it out. My wife got this for me because I have constant back pain. I went straight for the gusto and tried it first on the most extreme setting it has. Nothing but discomfort. Tried the medium setting, same thing. Low set, no go. My brother also tried it to no avail. I think the problem is is that I'm 6'1" and he's 6'3" and this product seems like it was designed for folks no taller than 5'9". Maybe if they included another bendy plate that was +/- 6" longer for us giants, it might work better. Idk, I'm no big brain. But the neck and muscle roller ball is pretty decent, but that back massage roller thingy, that thing is money and makes this purchase worth it.

This stretcher helped me immensely.A little context:I herniated two discs, another one was compressed(L3, L4, L5). Had issues with SI joint and Iliopsoas muscle, shooting pain down the front of my leg and numbness at the side of the knee. After an MRI I was to talk to a surgeon, I went to a muscle and joint doctor and went through weeks of physical therapy.So now on to the product -It gave me so much relief and was an excellent addition to the other things I used to get better such as the PT, stretches, walking, assisted stretching, etc.It is easy to setup, consisting of the arching piece that goes into the frame. It has three notches for three different settings. I have only comfortably used the lowest setting. I lay on it for 10 minutes a day, sometimes once or twice. It is comfortable for my large frame, 6' 1" 250 LBs.I felt immediate results and relief. It really surprised me and was a small cost for such big relief.
