Bogg!
K**L
Come, snicker at snirks! Amuse fellow commuters!
The other reviews all mention Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett whose work is like Bogg! Well, they are right, in plot, in style, in humour, in genre - it sits in a curious halfway house, which is in both places and yet in a third place all of its own.Which is interesting as the book itself is in the one place, the other and a third for good measure. You want a medieval fantasy world with funny creatures and dwarfs? You've got it! You want futuristic sci-fi with laser guns, space-time issues and dwarfs? You've got it! You want a modern day political espionage thriller and dwarfs? You've got it! There's even multi-eon princesses thrown in, furry creatures and more wordplay than Countdown.Seriously, buy this.
