The media could not be loaded.  Wow. Aparently it's incredibly hard to find a quality all black rug. This was the 3rd rug I tried. I purchased 2 other rugs from. 2 other companies that had the same description as this one. They were both terribly cheap quality and weren't actually black. They were dark brown at best. Not what I was looking for. This was the last rug I was going to try through online shopping, and I am so glad I did!!! This is the one! Nice and soft, actually Black! Looks absolutely stunning in our space. And with 2 cats and my partner, we really needed something that was going to hide spills.... but to my surprise, this rug doesn't only hide them, it repells them!!! I've only had it out in our living room for 5 days, already my cats have spilled a plate of my food on it (with sauce) spilled a glass of water, and puked on it in multiple locations..... THIS RUG REPELLED ALL OF THEM!!!! I don't know how else to describe it, but it was like it sat on top of the fibers and didn't absorb into the rug. The water was the only thing that seemed to soak in a little bit more, but I wasn't too concerned about that anyways. You can't tell there were any spills on it ever! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My literal only complaint is that it was a little bit warped when we laid it out, but we've put heavy chairs/furniture on those areas to flatten it out, and it's flat now. I saw some other people complaining about some weird dust partials that came out of the rug when unfolding. I purchased an 8×10. There were a few, but nothing I wouldn't have vacuumed up anyway. If you're looking for a reason to not buy this rug, cleaning up those little partials shouldn't be the reason you don't. I will be purchasing another one of these smaller for our guest room. So grateful our rug search is over!!!!

Pricey for the size I got but it was the color I wanted and it’s of a nice soft, but thick construction. Seams are all sewn nicely and it lays flat right off….with a pad underneath it feels really nice underfoot. I bought the same color in a 2x3 size to fill in a smaller area. This smaller piece is the same good quality.

Simple carpet fits beautifully in space, nice color, not high pile. Great for purpose I bought it for.

HARD to clean, SAVE your money. There will be no way to contact Ambient for any type of customer service.The purchase of this rug was a big mistake. I trusted the manufacturer, who states: "Machine Washable Rug & Easy Care: These washable rugs provide unparalleled convenience for any lifestyle, as they can be easily cleaned in the washing machine. For best results, saving time and effort and it is very easy to care for."Issues Encountered:False Claims on Machine Washability: Despite the claims, this rug is not machine washable, it will not fit in a big machine.Stain Resistance Failure: The rug is not stain resistant as advertised.Unmanageable Cleaning: I purchased this rug in November 2023. By June 2024, my 8 lb. kitty had an accident on the carpet. Despite cleaning the stain immediately and meticulously for over 8 hours on both sides of the damaged corner area, the odor persisted.High Professional Cleaning Costs: When I sought professional cleaning services, the quotes ranged between $75-150 for a 4x4 rug with a stain in one corner.Conclusion:This rug is neither easy to care for nor convenient. The manufacturer's claims are misleading, making this purchase deeply regrettable. I strongly advise against buying this product.

We ordered a 4x4 and a 2x6 in brown for our camper. Those arrived and we really like them. We like them so much that we decided to order another 2x6 in brown. Amazon shipping was great as usual. The problem was that it didn't match the other two rugs. It looked more like a gold or beige and the rug was shorter carpet height than the other two. When I ordered it I went back to my previous orders and ordered from the exact same posting as the first time. So, I returned it hoping it was just a mistake. Well, the replacement looks exactly like the rug we just returned. Obviously, I'm not going to be able to get the rug to match our first order. Disappointing but I guess I'll have to live with it. So, my advice is if you are going to order more than one rug make sure you order them at the same time in one batch. And of course, Good Luck.

This hearth rug is exactly what I wanted to use as an entry mat for my sliding glass doors...which has worked out perfectly!I had slightly over 1/4" (5/16th to be exact) to spare under my verticals, and this 'just' fits under & looks great, 👍.Color is described as 'rust', and this rug's color is just a very slight bit 'too orangey'...and I AM being REALLY picky, because the color really IS nice & actually IS in the rust family...but I'd prefer it having just a little deeper, darker rust color to it, but...the more & more I live with it & see it, the more I like it.It's only been on the floor for a few days, so durability can't be determined yet, but from the looks of the weave & the binding, I'm pretty confident that this will hold up nicely.
