My elementary school age son is required to wear a lanyard with a with an ID badge for school. I started buying these badge protectors at the beginning of the school year after the one he was issued was destroyed. These are heavy duty and have the press zip top to help the badge from sliding out. Because the kids are rough and play with them and swing them around they do eventually break. I’m happy with the quality of the thick plastic and how long they do last. I’ve bought multiple packs and will continue to. I keep a couple in my son’s backpack so if him or a friend need one, they have them to switch out.

We used these on an eight-day cruise to hold our key cards. They have a nice closure to keep water out and your card in nice and tight and dry.Some have written in the comments that the card holders were not durable. That wasn't our experience. They are made of strong, durable plastic. Ours look and feel brand new after the cruise. We had no problems at all and we had them on from first thing in the morning through the end of the day.

Strong and stylish. It even has a lobster claw clasp but that's not really needed since this is long enough to easily slip over my head. Looks like a long sterling silver necklace but made of stainless steel. I wear it for my gym workouts and it's strong enough to handle the roughness.
