not much action in this dvd i wouldn't recommend it. cuba gooding jr. wasn't at his best.

could have been worse, could have been better....

This movie is about circumstances and choices. I also want to add greed but more so circumstances and choices. Each character has opportunities to go left or right. Right keeps you where you are a may with the next correct choice and chance for positive change to get out of the whole to find yourself in. The left looks like a light at the end of tunnel only you find yourself looking into the headlight of train coming down the track you are standing in the middle of. Just by chance one of the characters is able to jump off the track. I thought the characters were believe able. The kidnapping would have been video tapped and the bystanders more reactive. Overall the movie was ok.

I can't even tell you what this movie is about due to the horrible random idiotic low bass RUMBLE intentionally put into scenes at random places during scenes in which absolutely NOTHING is actually happening. No logic to it at all. Just, suddenly it THERE, and suddenly, INEXPICABLY, it just stops. It's the kind of rumble that produces feeling of uneasiness that many films use strategically to enhance scenes of tension and/or suspense, yet these idiots put in places that make no sense whatsoever. That alone ruined my ability to pay even the slightest bit of attention to any of the dialogue, therefore I have NO CLUE what this disaster of a film is really about. Can't say I didn't give if a fair try after 40 minutes of putting up with such a horrible sound track. I'll not give it one second more. Refuse to subject myself to it. Sad too, because I like a lot of Cuba's work, but this is a train wreck due to the single FATAL flaw.

For his first effort at directing, Mr. Gooding did a good job. I enjoyed the movie. Was not so sure that he pulled off making one believe he was a boxer, but it was a good movie.

there wasnt enough Richard Dreyfuss who also seemed to phone it in. Was hoping for the ending I got but also what happened to the photographers after she was kidnapped by the two guys? Loose ends.Do NOT recommend.

Good to see Cuba back on the screen and his work writing and directing is good with plenty of room for improvement, Cerebral yet raw and real. I liked it!

Cuba Gooding Jr. not his best film nor his worst...It is worth the watch.It is about a sex tape a wash up boxer manipulates an underage girl to make for the russian mafia. There are twists and turns. It is a thriller but a bit predictable.
