I have been using this product after seeing in used in the movie Mine. I researched the product and liked the results. I decided to try it. I love it. The taste is little bitter mixed with a little sweetness. However since it comes in a liquid stick it's easy to swallow which is another plus. I like the increase energy level. I was focused and ready to go all day until I went to sleep. I felt even better the next day. I purchased the 2000mg per stick that only comes with10 sticks. This makes my third order because I shared them with others. I wanted more sticks to use so I ordered this box of 30 that has 3000mg of ginseng per stick plus other healthy ingredients to improve the overall body. As for the taste I sometimes mixed it with juice or just drink it from the package on the go. I am really pleased with this product and I will continue buying it. I think it's a good idea how some of the products were promoted in their movies. Great attention getter. More to come about a tea I am researching to add to my daily health regime. The first order/batch of ginseng extract I received was delicious and thick like a syrup. It worked very well. The second batch (ordered 2 months apart) was thin and "water like".There also seems to be an effectiveness difference, but the taste is very different and much worse. Giving 4 stars for the first batch. I'll try again.

More energy, no longer had to take my blood pressure medicine.The BP medicine, after taking for a number of years, gave me severe muscle weakness in my lower body.The red ginseng gave me more extended energy so I could reduce my caffeine intake and the stopping of the BP medicine reduced that dragging feeling, so easier to get around in the afternoon = less coffee.I have been off the BP medicine for almost 2 months and feel great. I pedal an exercise bicycle 10-20 minutes a day 2x per day, at least 3x per week and always monitor my heart rate. So far, so good. Resting heart rate improving also.I would not recommend doing this without coordinating with your doctor. I did not do that.Personally the medical establishment these days has turned into a do it yourself type of treatment. God forbid you have something really wrong. I got tired of my doctor prescribing one BP medicine after another so I searched for a holistic approach and I found this ginseng. I usually get about a one pint bottle of drinking water and empty an envelope of the red ginseng into it and consume during the next hour. It is very palatable that way. I tried mixing it with some tea and the volume of tea vs. RG was not high enough to make the taste tolerable. I am very happy with this product and have now subscribed to receive it monthly. Oh, yeah, it also increases the sex drive. My Korean friend at work said it would and he was correct, but don't buy it for that.Now, if I can only get my FSA to pay for it :-)

I've bought this 30-stick package six times, four of which were from this seller on Amazon. It had the iconic bitter-sweet ginseng taste, which some might dislike, but I enjoyed it a lot. I also felt it boosted my immune system, although this is just a subjective feeling that made me more confident about its benefits.However, the formula of the most recent batch seems to have changed. I can no longer taste the iconic ginseng flavor, which originates from the ginseng compound. If a ginseng extract doesn't taste like ginseng anymore, it makes me wonder what I am consuming.This change is not necessarily a bad thing. For instance, I found a paper discussing the nanoencapsulation of ginseng using chitosan and gelatin. This method might boost the absorption rate and suppress the ginseng taste. However, if this is the case, the manufacturer should disclose the encapsulation method used, as gelatin may not be acceptable to everyone.Without disclosure of the treatment and the change in taste, I have lost faith in this product. This doesn't mean the product is bad, but I'm sharing my thoughts for consideration.

The product definitely works as the energy and strength goes up with consumption.

This is a quality product and I’ve purchased twice. I will rebuy again this year!
