Super Heavy Duty Steel Fireplace Grate - Made in The USA (27 Inch)

Well worth the money. I have the 21 inch and was happy to buy the 27 inch version. They show little signs of burn through after several years of use. My previous cast iron grate was burnt through and full of extra holes after several years.

It does it’s job.

Way better than the cheap one we had that melted.

I purchased this grate last fall and have used it a lot this winter. It hasn't shown any signs of deterioration or warping like previous grates I have purchased . It was more expensive than previous ones but in my book well worth the money.

These grates work very well and I’m happy with the quality.

Very heavy duty. Large capacity. Expensive but so far I am not disappointed.

Had cheap one from Lowe’s.. it melted and sagged.. the steel freak also has more clearance under the grate which makes for better fires!

The media could not be loaded.  I burn allot of oak and pecan during the cooler months, and needed to replace fireplace grate for quite sometime. SteelFreak had the best solid steel heavy duty grate! Delivered on time, fair price, and extremely high quality made in America!

Had trouble keeping the fire burning due to height. I used t grinder to cut 1” off and works perfectly now.

Not as big in real life as it is advertised to be, also too high, which allows ash to build up to almost 4" deep, when the fire place is cleaned out, allows wood to burn too fast.
