Very Nice!
The pan is beautiful! Extremely well made and engineered. The powder coating is excellent. Extra capacity and aluminum construction should dissipate heat much better than the factory steel pan.

Durability
This transmission is made with heavy duty construction. I love that it is been stronger than the factory pan because it won’t bend easily. It is most convenient since it can be drained from a center drain port instead of having to tilt the old pan to get the fluid out. I have used Mag-Hytec before and will continue to use them for future builds.

Nice pan for my Ram Hemi 4 x 4!
Quality and functional cast aluminum pan. Have not done a filter change using it yet but am looking forward to having a drain plug rather than the factory pan being a very messy fluid and filter change. I did not use the gasket and opted for sticking with the tried-and-true mopar rtv specifically formulated for this application; just hope that the more rigid cast pan removal will not be an issue using the rtv. Highly recommend for anyone working on his own vehicle. The main problem with these transmissions is poor maintenance and performance upgrades without addressing additional heat due to stresses. I personally have a factory tow package which gives an additional radiator just for the transmission. I also placed my temp gauge on the outlet line going to the cooler which tells me the hottest point of the transmission. Have not noticed any difference in temps due to the slight increase in transmission fluid. The pan is definitely worth having due to the ability to drain and also the port for temp sensor.

Helpful suggestion
Mine has only been on for a week now and my transmission seems to be running close to 20 degrees cooler in the brutal Arizona summer heat.So far the only negative is this pan comes with M6 x 25MM bolts and a supplied Alan wrench that is only about 3 inches long. It would take half the day to tighten down the 15 bolts a quarter turn at a time and your RTV wont stay tacky that long. Invest in some long T-handle Alan wrenches or some longer than factory hex head bolts before starting the job, it could make your job a little less frustrating.

Great Pan!
First off,This is a great pan. I love having the ability to drain the fluid out before I remove it to change the filters. When removing the old pan I had fluid sloshing around and its really hard to not spill anything when your trying to hold the pan level not bumping into anything. Its so stupid that manufacturers dont just put drain plugs in the factory pans. Any how, I like the look and function of this new pan. Installation was easy, and it came with a gasket. I didnt end up using the gasket I used Gasket Maker RTV. No Leaks thus far which makes me a very happy customer.

Direct fit on my 02 Durango 4x4 with 45RFE transmission. Trans temp at 160-170 with only factory in radiator cooler after a 10 mile drive in 90* weather. Cant wait to see what it shows with external cooler.
