Very good product but the color of the light was a little different than what was needed so had to return them. They are well made and worked perfectly and would have kept them but had to match to some other light color so couldn't keep them.

We put a dimmer switch on ours.

I ordered two strips. The strips I received were not identical. They were labeled and packaged differently. I imagine that they came from two different manufacturers.When I powered them up, the two strips were identical in brightness and color.The strips differed in one important way: the adhesive.One strip had good adhesive. The other strip had inferior adhesive. When I tried to remove the backing, that adhesive strip peeled away from the LED strip instead. It wasn't particularly sticky. I was able to remove the backing with care, but the adhesive generally didn't stick well to the LED strip or any other smooth surface. (The adhesive backing had "3M" markings on it, but I assume those were fake. 3M makes great adhesives, so it's common for shady manufacturers to steal their label for their products.)

This spool of LED lights arrived alone; missing the plug connector for it to even be usable. I suspect there should also have been adhesive mounting tabs too, as have been included in similar previous orders of mine. A spool of LEDs without the low voltage transformer plug is worthless. That said, I 'borrowed' such a plug from another order (for some 2200K lights) to see the difference in color. I am VERY doubtful that these are actually 2700K. These seem well 'north' of 2700K, and more like the garish 'el cheapo' high kelvin variants out there blinding us with their mutant 'Franken-frequencies.' If the plug HAD been part of my delivery; 3 1/2 stars; maybe. No plug? Lowest possible stars due to its poor value as a paper weight.

The description says 2700K but these are more like 3000-3100K. Certainly like a soft white light bulb, but not that warm tungsteny/halogen/dim thing. So if you're looking for the cozy warm amber look, these are not that. Otherwise they're fine.

Trying to replace a section of discontinued 27k :( These are brighter than them and they about match my overhead (30k) lights perfectly.
