7.5 ft. Steel Commercial Grade Heavy Duty Beach Umbrella with Ash Wood Pole & Acrylic Fabric

I wanted to wait a bit before giving a review on my new umbrella. First, let me say,the last beach umbrella I bought was back in the mid 80's for $35.00. Times have changedand this one cost a lot more.Having said all of that, I wanted to wait to see how this one would do on a windy beach dayon the Jersey Shore. I must say, this one passed the test with flying colors. While watching otherumbrellas flying all over the place, this one stood rock solid. Granted, part of the deal is you haveto know how to put it in the ground,but this one really did stay firm and steady, Quality materials and well made.I hope to get another 30 plus years out of this one.

Got this partway through the summer. Sure it's heavier than the aluminum and plastic cheapies, but it is far less succeptible to the wind, and far more stable. Metal and wire construction gives it strength, with a good canvas which adds weight and hopefully longevity. The wood pole construction is also very good, and surprisingly, the wood pole pointed end is extremely easy to get deep in the sand.Our umbrella did take a spill once. The metal rods that support the canvas bent slightly. I was able to bend them back good as new!

I was so tired of. Yging beach umbrellas that would break after a couple of uses and. So I decided I need one similar to the ones that the Life Guards install at the beach (at least in Myrtle Beach). This umbrella is worth every single penny I paid for it!!! The size is adequate, the design is pretty sturdy, and the quality is comparable to those at the beach. Myrtle Beach can be pretty windy. Well, this product withstood a whole week at the beach, with some 15-20mph winds at times and it worked flawlessly! I am one happy customer with this purchase!

Heavy canvas, and the umbrella itself seems good quality. But the carrying bag is shorter than the broken-down umbrella pieces. The only way to use the bag is to have the metal umbrella pole poking out of the top of the bag by a few inches. It could easily poke someone in the eye or scratch the car on the way to the beach. For this price I would have expected the umbrella to fit inside of the bag.
