Dried Elderberries Bulk 1 lb - Makes Great Organic Elderberry Tea - Sambucus Nigra is Known for It's Immune System Booster Properties

First I'd like to say that this seller provides excellent customer service. I had several issues with this order and ultimately reached out to them via their website. The berries are great. Not a lot of stems or anything. Smells fine. I only got 4 ounces of berries along with three other ingredients I didn't need but that was an honest mistake during fulfillment. What I received was a good product, just not what I ordered. I couldn't submit seller feedback because when I clicked on links to do so, I was taken to a completely different product/seller. Not sure what's happened there but the seller resolved the issue quickly and courteously. Good customer service on their end.

I originally left a two star rating (I have left the original below so you can read my first experience) but am back to change it.I have been wholly impressed with Birds & Bees Teas customer service and their desire to make my experience a better one than it initially was. They immediately reached out to me and apologized for the state of the original berries I purchased and offered to send two new bags in their place!They have been communicative and pleasant at every turn, sent the berries out ASAP and 3 day priority!Likewise the new berries they sent were very good quality and are clearly fresh and much larger than the first batch I purchased and have very little debris.I am very happy with my entire encounter and feel they earned this 5 star rating."I read through the reviews prior to purchasing in order to hopefully get a better product however the reviews let me down big time.These berries are tiny and appear to be very old and or over dried and are full of twigs and odd large dry things that need picking out. one of the two, yes I ordered two bags, I received even had multiple tiny sea shells in it!The only reason I did not return them is because I needed it asap and only one place local to me sells elderberry and they were out. I am in Alaska and elderberry is hard to find here.The only reason I am giving it two stars instead of one is because they have a good flavor."

I picked this company to support a growing business and because the quality seemed higher. I have been so pleased! We first made our elderberry syrup in November, used it all Winter and I finally made a new batch in May. The berries are overall excellent quality, with few stems. The flavor of the syrup is strong but yummy. I used a recipe that uses the Instant Pot and local raw honey. It's so much more cost effective to make your own!We're a family of 6 so this made it possible for us all to take elderberry very regularly to stay well.The kids take shots with juice, the adults by itself.We have remained influenza free this year!I appreciate this company and will purchase again in the future!!!Little tip if you drink kombucha purchase a few dark brown bottles and recycle them for syrup storage 😋

I bought this to make a natural cold remedy for the cold and flu season. When the package arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the amount that comes in the bag. I made elderberry syrup twice as well as put some in a mason jar and I still have a lot left in the bag. The quality of the berries is great but they do have a particular smell to them which gets worse when you cook it. I personally don’t have a problem with the smell but when I was making the syrup by family made a point to complain how the smell had spread through the whole house. My advice, if you have people in your house who are sensitive to smells, is to open the windows in your kitchen when your making elderberry syrup. Hopefully the smell doesn’t denture you from buying this product, the berries have many benefits, and works great to fight colds and alleviate some flu symptoms as well. Btw I bought this during winter time, I just procrastinated on reviewing it.

Update on my initial review: after having written about my disappointment, the seller reached out to offer me a replacement which I recently received, and appreciated very much. This time the product was a lot better. I’ve made a bottle of syrup and have been enjoying delicious tea made from these dried elderberries. Thank you to this company for caring enough to follow up with dissatisfied customers and standing behind their product.***********************************************Very disappointed in this product. I purchased this to make Elderberry syrup, and once I opened the package I ended up having to pick out twigs, pebbles, and green dried berries. Most of the berries were the size of sesame seeds. Will not be purchasing this brand again, especially after paying $24.00 for them

This is a good product, great for making Elderberry tea, but the customer service is great. They made a mistake with my order and made it right, quickly and generously. Try the product, and be assured you're buying from a company that operates with integrity.

I absolutely love this product. The whole berries make the best tea with a light fruity yet natural flavor. I will be purchasing again and highly recommend this item.

***Update***The customer service of this company is bar none, the best!! They reached out to me, and offered to correct the mistake. Not only did they refund the purchase of the incorrect item, they replaced it with the correct item at no extra charge!! I’ve since made lots of elderberry-infused honey, and my customers are very happy! Thanks so much!!First order was the package on the left. I made lots of elderberry infused honey. I liked the process so well, and wanted to make more infused honey, so I clicked “buy again”. Unfortunately, I was sent the package on the right. I didn’t want a syrup making kit, and it wasn’t until after I opened the package that there were satchels with other ingredients. Very disappointed in this order. I may be looking for another seller. :(
