Often overlooked when using metal clad, poly bushings provide me an extra bit of security against damaged wire strands. However, they are generally grossly, exceedingly, overpriced.That said, this seller provided the best price I could find without purchasing in the thousands of pieces at a time.

Must have for proper installation
These small pieces of form plastic are used to insert into the cut end of a BX cable to keep the sharp edges of the metal outer casing from cutting into the electrical lines running inside the flexible cable.To use they are rolled tight and inserted into the end of the cable. I have found using these to be a pain as they tend to pop out so I always do a rap of tape to hold them in place.They appear to do their job of protecting the inner lines and a definite safety feature.
