HunterFan Company 59420 Coral Bay Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote, 52, Black

Always been a fan of Hunter brand fans and this one doesn't fail. It's whisper quiet, steady with no shaking, and absolutely beautiful. The blades have a choice of color, I was surprised though to see a 'printed' barnwood, it looked cheapy... until I installed it and put it up. Can't tell if it's real wood or not; real wood would just warp anyways so there is good reasoning behind printing the wood color on the blades. I am 59 y/o and put this up by myself -- I pre-read the directions the night before so that when it came time to installing this fan, I would be familiar with it. My husband couldn't believe his eyes when he came home to see it installed! :) It's put together smartly! The only down side to this fan is that the light isn't good for much -- it's 'up lighting' so the light stays up near the ceiling -- it's ok for us because we didn't need much light where we installed it. Also, be sure the wall switch is a standard switch, not a dimmer switch, you will have problems with the fan/light. The remote is easy enough to run but the light dimming feature seems to be non-functioning even when that feature is turned on, on the remote. All in all, this is a fabulous fan.

This is a great looking fan, quiet and the light works nicely providing a decent amount of light but not too bright. The problem is the remote control feature! When it was first installed it worked great in all 3 fans that I purchased. I adjusted one of the fans speeds within 5 days of installation and it shut off. I was never able to turn it on again nor could I activate the light! My installer said this has been a large failure point on these Hunter fans usually right out of the box. Many of his customers have had to send them back. We trouble shot the fan and it was clearly the green capacitor that allows it to be controlled remotely.Contacted Hunter and they are willing upon showing proof of purchase to send me a new capacitor control but I have to go through a pairing process to get that part and the remote to communicate with the fan. I asked if they could send me a new remote that is already paired and they said no. Not the best customer service in my opinion! It’s bad enough that I paid for installation and now trouble shooting! Now I have to wait for the part and pay for my electrician again! 3 bills for one fan!! Not happy at all!

This is a great fan from Hunter. Very quiet and easy installation for those who are use to doing this type of thing. Easy to use remote with variable speed and light control. Light brightness is variable as well but I did need to contact Hunter to find out how to do it with the remote sent with the fan. There is another remote with the light control feature with separate up and down arrows but it comes at an additional cost. Too bad they don't simply include it with this fan. That would be my only negative comment about this fan but overall a great buy.

Very pleased. It looks great and runs quietly with no wobbles. My electrician installed it with no issues. The only reason for four stars is a minor quibble with the dimming feature that doesn’t have quite the range I would prefer (not dim enough). I will experiment with different bulbs.

This is a beautiful fan and light. Using it in our Florida room. Hoping the blades don’t droop.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm 66 years old and was able to assemble, hang, and wire this fan by myself (with God's help!), even with the 5' downrod (sold separately). Just follow the step-by-step directions, and it will all come together. It was not a quick installation, but I am thrilled with the result. One of the screws was misthreaded, but Hunter included a little bag of extras. The right one was there. The remote works well, and I am 100% satisfied!

The fan and light work perfect on our patio. It is quiet and furnishes a gentle breeze just enough to make it comfortable without blowing our napkins off the table. Installation was easy except for the cowling screws which were too short for my old fingers to line up correctly with the holes. I had 2 screws about a 1/4 inch longer that did the trick.
