The small/medium size fits my dog perfectly. My dog weighs about 35 lbs and is lean but barrel chested and somewhat long. He also gets very cold in the winter and seems more comfortable in a sweater of some sort, but is hard to fit. This sweater looks great, has some stretch. Best of all, the back is longer than the belly side, so my dog stays warm but can't urinate on the sweater.

For ten bucks you couldn’t do better. Eloise loves hers- hasn’t tried to take it off, and it is warm and snuggly in this chilly November weather. It has a hole on the back for the leash to go through, and the red is a perfect claret. True to the sizes listed

This is the first sweater I have purchased so I wasn't sure what to expect. I read reviews about the neck stretching, but I thought, since my girl is short and stocky, it might work out. It's been only 3 days and she seems to be fine with it. She's gone potty in it without issues. The turtleneck does not stay in place, as you can see in the last picture, with only a minute of movement on her part. I am concerned that I will have to sew the neck to keep it from stretching more. I have not washed it yet.

Great quality and excellent colors. Well made and fit exactly the way I’d hoped.Especially love that there are no leg things (that I normally cut off anyway). Sweater lies perfectly on his back with no roll-up. Enough body coverage to keep him warm, and enough underneath clearance for safe and clean “liquid elimination”.

I really liked the sweater, but it was too big for my little guy..I went by the size chart provided by the company.. I ordered a medium, returning it for a small.. it is very stretchy knitting/yarn..

This is the only sweater that fits my dachshunds!! Please buy it now!I previously bought this brand’s navy blue colored sweater last year, it was a little thin and didn’t last long. I still love this brand and wanted to get a new one, opting for the beige color. IT IS AMAZING! The improvements are surprisingly impressive. It’s THICK, it feels expensive, well made, and I can tell it will last.My dachshund in the pictures is about 16 pounds, and they have large chests. He’s posing with his best friend, Miss Mermaid-Llama-Unicorn.The small fits him perfectly, it’s not saggy to the point his arms fall out, it’s actually very form-fitting but not tight. He’s a shorthair and gets very cold in the winter and summer air conditioning, I tried so many sweater brands and this is the only one that fits my dachshund. This sweater means nap time to him because it’s very cozy and warm, lol.The material is not scratchy, and it has a decent stretch to it, but if you have a larger dog I might consider sizing up if you’re between sizes.I wish your pups warmth!

Even after choosing the best size for my dog, it hangs on him because his chest is bigger than his belly and body. I will try to have it altered to fit. Not the fault of the item which is good.

I found this sweater very cute on my dog but after a wash stretched and now it hangs off him and will even come off in the night. When you measure your dog, I would err on the smaller size.
