I bought this vacuum container to store my veggies. This pumping method is amazing and easy to use. It doesn't need a hand pump. I have used it constantly with zero problems and I would recommend it if you purchase any food items that you are going to use over a week period as it will keep them fresh. I will purchase another set for my mom at Christmas.

These are the best vacuum units that I have purchased, mainly that they are easy to use, and that they work. These actually hold a vacuum for a long period of time. I have purchased many from foodsaver, which were all worthless. The only thing that they can improve on is making them stackable.

I used one of the jars for items that I don't use often, it is still working. The one I used to keep coffee grounds in (and opened every day) no longer creates a vaccum. The top has separated a little and is not airtight anymore. It only worked for a few months. As in other reviews, I found the glass used to be very thin.

It works great. I would have given it 5 stars but the container is not big enough.

Use them everyday in fridge to store things like fruit, grains, meat. Keeps food fresher longer, thus saving money. Like that no additional pump is needed.

Maybe I got a rare defective one, but the container would not hold a vacuum for more than 2 hours. I tried putting food-grade grease on the seals; I tried meticulously cleaning the seals.

Like it being a sturdy material and in sizes that are useable. Like the vacuum pump on the top for easy use and the date dial.

Unit works well except for freezer.
