Quality tool, great value, looks amazing, made in the USA
I had the standard Link with G-10 scales for 6 months before procuring this fine specimen of aluminum handled goodness, and the standard model was my favorite, and the fastest knife I can draw - back pocket (under 2 sec). This knife has blue aluminum scales that are truly a thing of beauty, even non-knife people will compliment you on that point. The blue on the acid stonewashed blade matches better then you expect, and better than the pictures suggest even without perfectly compliment the black hardware (torque screws, clip and back spacer). The long list of good:1. When a review starts with a comparison with a different version of the same model, you know it's sure buy2. It's made in the USA and I always buy American when I can, this product is no obligation buy though, it's a high quality product a nice piece of kit an amazing knife as a tool while looking great.3. Great action4. Great ergonomics5. Great quality6. Great price

A good knock for the price
Initial impressions: the knife has a very beautiful color and overall I really like how this knife looks. The knife is a bit smaller than I anticipated and feels a tiny bit awkward in my hands but this is not a negative. I have really really big hands. The action can best be described as stiff and hard to deploy but after some more break in this should improve. The clip is not deep carry but such a small amount of handle sticks out that to me, it is not important. The lockup is very tight and the blade is shaving sharp. The knife feels pretty heavy. I would pay a few bucks more for a version with skeletonized liners. The flipper tab could be a little bit bigger. This is a good knife for $40 but I do think there are better options out there.

Fast opening and easy sharpening
Had this knife for about 3 mo now and love it. Fast opening and easy sharpening. Aluminum handles are fine even with wet hands. Always like a liner lock knife for hand safety. For the price this beats any $80 knife hands down. Like the black blade against the blue handles. Nothing has fallen off or come loose like many other knives I've owned. Good item for a gift. Use this knife sometimes 5-10 times a day, sharpen a pencil, open up a chip bag, cut a nylon binding strap off or whatever... This knife also pops up out of your pocket and deploys in a flash for emergencies.

I believe this to be a great value as a USA made knife
I've been carrying this knife non stop since I received it. I believe this to be a great value as a USA made knife. This is simply an amazing knife.

Yet to find a knife I like more for under $100, let alone sub $50.
I've owned more than a couple knives and this has been my EDC for nearly six months. Everything about this knife feels very good quality, I got mine in the anodized blue finish. The assisted open is strong without feeling like it'll fly from your hand, easy and comfortable to deploy with one hand and the safety catch is satisfying. The factory edge wasn't quite hair-popping sharp, but it's pretty darn close and has held it's edge tremendously in some pretty harsh environments and cutting some pretty tough stuff. It's held it's edge well, and has yet to need a resharpening (although I'm sure it's coming up soon). The slight curve in the handle makes this knife more comfortable for me to wear in my right front pocket. I also have large hands (XL gloves for reference) and the size of the scales are like my Goldilocks perfect mix for a small form factor that I can still get a good grip on. I would absolutely recommend this, and often have to friends, and since it's only forty bucks I'm not worried about abusing the absolute hell out of the thing cause if it dulls I'll sharpen it, and if it breaks I'll just buy two more.

I'm not replacing you I swear :(
Lost my Benchmade Vicar (I get sadder every time I think about it) and needed something to use that wasn't as pricey. This knife caught my interest and I'm happy with it. I would have liked a deeper pocket clip but it actually sits pretty well in my uniform. Simple and easy to use for a decent price.

American Made Kershaw 1776
I've been a Kershaw fan for a long time and I like this model a lot for an edc. The speedsafe system can be tuned to your preference so the 1776 operates the way you want it too, fast or real fast, you do have to keep it clean for the real fast to be effective daily and that takes maintenance that many won't want to deal with like washing your pants! Your pockets get dirty and then your knifes mech. gets dirty... it will still work though! This is a lot of knife for the money.

Great by design.
I've owned several knives before this, and I must say that this is my favorite. I enjoy this even more than my buck knife! It's got a nice fit and finish, no wobbles or anything wrong after the first few months with it as my everyday carry knife. It has served me well.
