This is a (20) watt, portable speaker with the dimensions of about 9” x 4” which is a good mid-size. It has an IPX6 waterproof rating which basically means that is can handle 3min. of powerful jet SPRAYING which is nice but that also means that it is not assured to hold up if you SUBMERGE it in water.This speaker gives you a few more connectivity options than your average speaker. Of course, it has your common Bluetooth and aux-in option with the included aux cord. But something that sets this aside from other speakers is that it will also accept a microSD card or a USB drive that is pre-loaded with some mp3 files. This might not be a big deal to most people because of the rise in popularity of streaming services. But, personally, I think it’s a nice touch because I, actually, still keep a pretty big library of music on my pc.Since we’re talking about great features, I also like that you’re able to control the EQ settings right from the speaker even though you only have the options of “bass, treble, and normal”. In addition, I have to give this speaker a notable mention on the fact that you’re able to connect it to another Zenbre speaker and create a “stereo-like” environment. I only have (1) of these speakers so I was not able to review that feature.A couple other things that I should mention is that it does have a mic for you to be able to make calls and it has a re-adjustable strap that feels very stiff and secure.Alright, let’s talk about the buttons – more specifically, the volume and the next/previous track buttons. I can’t put full blame on Zenbre because a lot of companies let me down when it comes to how they arrange their buttons. My issue with them is that if you want to adjust the volume, you have to press and hold either the “next” or “previous” track button. You can’t really tell where you’re at in the volume range and it’s hard to dial down where you actually want to be. In my opinion, I would actually enjoy it if those controls were flip-flopped.The cylinder design of the speaker helps distribute the sound evenly when you place it in the middle of a room. Now for the sound itself - it's good BUT it, definitely, won't blow other speakers out of the water. You will notice a little bit of distortion when you start raising the volume on it.If we take the price into account (the discounted price of $55), then you might find that this speaker is worth the savings that you get when you compare it to similar speakers like the UE BOOM 2 or the JBL Flip 4. The sound may not be up to par with those other speakers but you do get features that you wouldn't otherwise get.

Several years ago I bought Zenbre Z3 and was very pleased. The Z8 received appeared to be on its second trip out of the factory. Finger prints were all over the buttons. Had trouble connecting blutooth and when it did connect it dropped connection after 2-minutes. The speaker sounded great when working so I kept trying. I switched to a different laptop (both the second and first laptops are Dell XPS 13). The second laptop worked well from the start. I think it worth mentioning that the Zenbre website is merely a shell. All products are listed as being out of stock. The only support is an opportunity to send an email to China. There is no supporting documentation for the Z8 on the website and the documentation shippped with the product is woefully lacking. Thankfully there are only a handful of buttons on the speaker and a thorough trial and error approach revealed enough to be able to use the speaker.

I ordered two of these speakers specifically to use the TWS feature where you're allowed to play both speakers simultaneously. The product itself is of great quality and has a great sound. Both speakers worked perfectly for about a month, until suddenly, the TWS feature stopped working. Although, both speakers still work, only one or the other will play rather than simultaneously. I tried to contact customer service by phone but the number provided in their website appeared to be fake. I'm still in the process of trying to get this issue resolved, hence the bad review. I would like to emphasize that the speakers themselves are of good quality and sound great, it's just the customer service and lack of reliability that caused me to give a bad review.

The media could not be loaded.  This speaker is overall very good. First of all I really like the shape of it, it’s cylindrical and tall making the product look very sleek and cool. The sound is great on this device, I have only used the speaker with Bluetooth so far and it works great. The sound and bass quality is very good. I also like how this speaker has different modes so you can change if for special tracks.

ALSO A PICTURE TO COMPARE SIZE TO THE ZENBRE Z4. I PLAYED BOTH AT THE SAME TIME AND YOU CANT HEAR THE Z4 ALL YOU HEAR IS THE Z8 SO DEFINITELY WAY LOUDER AMD DEFINITELY MORE BASS

My new favorite bluetooth speaker. Great for its size and price. Very portable and has a strap to hold it. It is loud. Great for parties or at the office. Durable metal casing. Very easy to use and fast charging. Takes about 45 min to fully charge. Not bad for a brand that is not mainstream. Could use it all day!

Overall a really good inexpensive Bluetooth speaker with good sounds and big bass . For the price you pay its a steal, it’s really well worth it. No complaints here , I was thinking of getting another to take advantage of the stereo sound TWS , but it’s already good enough.

The size is nice great feeling to the touch sturdy like but i dont think it is loud enough for its size there are smaller speakers that pack a more powerful punch
