"Brights" Kitchen Mixing Bowl 20cm Diameter for Baking & Cooking

Without going into too much detail, I didn't want this for kitchen use. Let's just say the hospital requires my cooperation with certain things, but did not provide a suitable receptacle, and I did not have one I was willing to sacrifice to the purpose. I didn't want to spend a fortune, so this is what I ended up with. Actually, it's perfect for the rather unorthodox use I had in mind, but having received it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another for the kitchen, as I like the small handle and equally unobtrusive spout, which mean you can stack it like a bowl, but pour from it like a jug. I suppose that makes it a jowl...or a bug?The non-slip base would be useful, as it has next to no weight to stop it sliding about if you stirred vigorously, or used a mixer.From the pictures, you might get the impression the base is a separate stand, so I wasn't sure what to expect. In fact, it's all one piece - they've just photographed the bottom to show you.It's low priced and useful, but still manages to be a modern, slightly funky design.The wrapping was a bit peculiar - i.e. there wasn't much. It arrived in clear polythene with a bit of bubble wrap. I'm still not sure if that's a positive or a negative. It's environmentally sound not to use a cardboard box where none is needed - it arrived undamaged, after all. But even though it's not a personal or embarrassing item (despite my planned use of it), it felt a bit odd having it handed to me in plain view. Should we expect privacy over a mixing bowl?

Just what I wanted BUT as the origninal one despatched never arrived my has a green bottom This looks wierd with some contents! Love the non skid bit.

I love this product! The only thing that disappointed me is that it is not dishwasher safe! Otherwise it's fantastic and brilliant value for money!
