After much moaning and begging our children, 5 and 7years of age, convinced us to buy some kinetic sand. We didn’t see the point at first and thought it was only for 3-year olds.But they have been playing with it a lot. And frankly it’s a good quality, very entertaining product. So I’m happy not to have gone for the smallest quantity. And might actually buy some more.+ Nice quantity and good for money; this bag was double the price of the smaller bags but contains 3x to 4x as much kinectic sand+ Excellent qualities; molds well, doesn’t stick, doesn’t dry out soon+ Comes in a handy resealable bag+ not just for the youngest children, older children can’t stop playing with it either. While it can be relaxing for adults as well to let the sand slip to your hands.- Requires some kneading on first use, but loosens up afterward- Created a slippery situation when dropped on our floor- Bag itself is only half full- Though easily picked up, the play area can still get messy.So this kinectic sand can be literally recommended to anyone but in particular to families with children in a wide age range.

This is a great product, and my children all love playing with it. the only negative is the cost of the coloured versions of the sand which does seem disproportionate and you don't get a massive amount for your money. This was to top up another kit as my daughter kept running out of sand so was fine but despite being an excellent product, it is not great value for money. It is however relatively easy to clean up and was a hit with my daughter.

Expensive for small bag but kids love to play in kinetic sand.

This sand is great for my kids but also relaxing for me to play with them. The colors are great but they are mixed it’s an ugly brown but they kids do not care and it still works great mixed. This sand is not sticky and is great quality. I don’t mind paying a little extra for the quality I receive. You get a great product for a fair amount of money. I’ve tried off brand and I’ve had yet to find stuff like this.

Kinetic sand is hours of fun for the kids. It won't hold its shape very long, its more of a non-Newtonian property - which is really cool to play with. You can shape it, cut it, use it as a stress ball filler. It will end up on your floor at some point. It's fairly easy to clean up. But I dont recommend playing with it on or near soft surfaces unless you have a wicked vacuum. It's also cool to see the multiple colours blend together into new colours - not just brown like play-doh does. We have had the same bag for years. The amount has decreased over time with some spilling over and getting thrown out, but it will never dry out like traditional play doh. Really cool toy.
