A good little kit for starting out with control technology
Good value for a starter pack. You don't get a motor or a buzzer like in some other kits (although these are a little bit more costly) but you get quite a good selection of toys to play with. You need to buy 3 batteries to get started. I downloaded instructions and the Crumble control software from the Redfern site. The Crumble software is like Scratch and very easy to use. After that, it's pretty easy to connect up and you can write and test your programmes very quickly. The croc clips are a bit fiddly though. All in all, Crumble is a good method for children aged about 8-12 to have a first go at writing control software.
