I love the paper, but the edges were damaged during shipping.. I paid a lot for this paper. The manufacturer needs to take care of edges add some padding or put it in a box when shipping.. I've contacted the seller they passed the blame on to someone else.. so I am leaving a review to warn others.. especially if you're a professional artist. (I am not sending it back because it's useable and a frame with hide the damage. )

I recently doing water color after over a ten year lapse. I was looking for a 300 lb versatile paper that was reasonably prized. I did a wet into wet painting. The paper was excellent in its response. the water amount used was massive. I had used other Stonehenge papers in the past. And liked them. This is a keeper!!I wonder if Stonehenge makes bigger sheets?I will add a pic later.

I love this paper! You can take a piece and tape it to your art board and it will dry flat. I can layer color and rinse multiple times - it's awesome!

For the amount of money this is poor quality paper. I am very disappointed in the product. I have used two sheets and both didn't hold up. The first I painted a simple landscape. Nothing drastic. The paint bubbled up on the paper in some sections which I'm guessing is sizing that wasn't appropriately applied. There were marks on the paper that developed as it dried. It appears as if something in the processing scared the paper. The second sheet I used masking fluid on a section and when I removed it a few hours later it ripped the paper significantly. So out of the 10 sheets 2 have been wasted and proven to be poor quality. I may play on the remaining sheets but they are likely very expensive scrap paper now. This product, for me, was a huge waste of money and time.

I like the feel and the thickness of this paper. It holds up to a lot of water.

I have been painting on 140 weight paper and was recommended to try a 300-400 weight paper. Wow! There is a difference in the finished painting. When I plan to do a final piece, it will be on the 300 wt paper.

This is exactly what you are looking for if you need something other than arches.That said it arrived in a 2day ups sleeve with no protection. Corners were so banged up that I cannot use this as a worse color block and I lost about and inch in every corner. That said I am still going to use this paper like crazy.
