Very Veggie 5-Minute Stories (VeggieTales) Hardcover – Picture Book, September 18, 2018

I LOVE VeggieTales books and cartoons. Good humor with a wholesome message for kids. I wish this book had more stories. Can't wait to read this book to my kiddos.

Bought this for my 3 year old who loves reading and loves veggie tales. The stories are great, although some are oddly wordy. It has one story with larry boy in it which is a favorite of hers.

Boy was I surprised when I received this book! It was so more than I was anticipating. I was expecting a smaller book (and there’s nothing wrong with that) but this one is 8” x 10”! This storybook is for snugging in a chair with your little one in your lap and your arms around them as you hold the book. Love it!The stories are literally short enough to be read in 5 minutes; minus my sound effects of course! With each page having just a few lines, it is just right for young attention spans. It is my opinion with the large bright colored pages your little one will want to linger over the pages after you finish reading. This part impressed me. Every of page is filled with vivid colors of their favorite Veggie Tales characters and scenes depicting the story.Just as with the Veggie Tales videos, each story is humorous, fun and always shares a special message about biblical truths especially for children. These zany vegetables have become a beloved tradition among Christian parents and children. A quality book not on in construction and materials but also in content. I cannot wait to share it with my grandson and even in my Sunday school class.I received this book from Worthy Publishing in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated are my own.

I bought this for my 4 year for Easter. She was very excited to get it and had me read a few stories to her right away. I bought it used and it was in perfect condition. I love how it has a hard cover. It seems well made too. It had some fun stories I remember reading as a kid, like the good the bad and the silly. It also had a couple detective ones which I liked. I wish it had more variety though. There are more than one cowboys ones but I would have preferred another larry boy story. Overall I love this book and am happy I got it.

My children are in love with this book of 5 minute Veggie Tales stories! I like that they are new stories and not based on the movies, so is makes it fun and new for us to read together. They are the perfect length for bedtime stories (if we are ahead of schedule, it works well to read through a couple!), and teach some wonderful character traits like being truthful and taking time for those less fortunate I love that the Vikings and Larry Boy both make it into the book!Whether you grew up with Veggie Tales or you are a new fan, this is a fun collection!I received this book from Worthy Kids. I'm always on the lookout for good clean children's stories. Preschool-Kindergartens love books that have a simple but, yet, fun story.I love this book because the pictures and colorful and big. Big is better with little children.And because this book has all the Veggie Tales characters there is a lot of laughter and exclamations when the teacher is reading the story.Children love a story that they can relate with.There are nine short stories. Yes, they all are about five minutes long which is a perfect time for for short attention spans.We love this book and even though we've been through the book once we'll go through it many more times with lots of laughter.*This book was provided for review by Worthy Publishing*

My boys always loved Veggie Tales, so now I was excited to share values we hold dear with my nieces.You know you’re doing something right when you can see the attention in their eyes and your hearing precious giggles coming from them.These are sweet and hilarious stories that take about five minutes each, of course with the littles it always takes a few more, but so worth it. In fact, we usually don’t stop at one.A real treasure for their collection!I received this book through Worthy/Kids Ideals and was not required to give a positive review
