I bought 5 of these beans (different messages) and all 5 grew brilliantly (and are in fact still growing). You just have to plant them right and have a little patience (2 weeks or so).At the end of the day it is a plant and so performs like one, the text on the bean isn't perfectly manicured but is still perfectly legible. For something so unusual at less than a fiver is a great gift.

Came in the loveliest packaging with a cute little bow. It was a really nice gift the lettering is very clear waiting for it to grow but I’m sure it will come out as lovely as it looks in the packaging.If people find this review helpful I will update it and post pictures of what the plant looks like fully grown.

This is a really nice gift, unusual and inexpensive. We followed the planting instructions and waited expectantly for about 2 weeks. Our patience was rewarded when the leaves appeared, complete with message. Cue much excitement from our six-year-old son who had chosen this for daddy. Since then the plant has gone from strength to strength and was definitely a good buy.

I bought the I Love You seed back in March 2017. And as you can see the plant is growing very well, it did have to be trimmed down as it is growing up too fast and the plant has been given the name Triffed. Would definitley recommend this product. A+ seller.

Purchased this bean as a gift for a gardener a while back and it's been a rocky journey. The first one I ordered was planted perfectly and looked after exactly how it should have been but after weeks showed no growth. We decided to dig it up and have a look only to find the bean had turned into a rotten sludge and was giving off quite a putrid smell!The customer service was flawless and I can't fault them on this so I purchased another bean. This second one grew beautifully however the message never appeared on the plant itself.I understand that plants can be unpredictable but this experience has been overall very disappointing. A very risky gift to buy someone you love.

I purchased the magic bean for my loved ones birthday present' we followed the instructions carefully when plantingit and still we have no sign of any growth to reveal the message intended, really disappointed for my loved one who wasreally exited at the time but now all we have is a plant pot full of soil.!!!!!!
