This is my third photo light box. The first is a larger one that my wife got me which folds up into a small circle but doesn't have any built-in lighting so it requires a couple large external LED lights to be set up on either side of it. It works but takes up a lot of space and is kind of a pain to get all set up so I bought a second much smaller desktop-friendly 12x12" photo box. This is the one I use most often as its small size and built-in USB-powered LED lighting means I can just leave it set up on my desk, and then when I need the space I can just fold it up real quick and set it aside. I got this larger 24x24 inch box because of how much I liked the smaller one. It's not quite as convenient as the smaller box since it's larger and heavier and has a power brick but it's definitely more convenient than my first light box and is large enough to photograph most things that are too big for the small box.Setup is easy, just unfold and hook all the sides together via the velcro edges. It has built-in LED lights on the top so no external lights are needed. The opening in front is large enough to get a good range of angles and you can even just drop the entire front side if you need even more angles. There's a flap on top which reveals a hole so you can get photos from above as well, but for that you have to remove the shading cloth that normally you would attach to the top for diffusing the LED lights. While all this provides a large range of angles for shooting, the included backdrops may restrict your angles if you don't want to get any of the reflective silver sides in your shots.It comes with four different color backdrops but they don't cover the entire inside of the cube, just the back and bottom. The rest of the inside of the cube remains a textured sliver which reflects and diffuses light. This is different from what the product picture shows, the one where they show four boxes each with a different backdrop. In their picture the backdrop is shown to cover the back and left side while in reality the left side would be a textured silver, not the same color as the backdrop. I would love a way to cover all three sides and the bottom with a backdrop because the way it is now you are limited in the angles you can shoot at if you don't want to get any of the silver in the picture.The backdrops are also kind of a pain to get rolled up tight enough to fit inside the pocket for transport once the box is all folded up again. This is because they are thick and kind of smooth, which works great for having a smooth surface to shoot on with no creases or wrinkles but not so much for trying to get them rolled up tight and you really have to do that to get them to fit in the pocket. Once the box is collapsed into its travel mode, it's very easy to carry and store. It has a handle on top and two longer handles to hang on your shoulder, and no heavy bulky external lights! But even though it folds up flat, the rolled up backdrops will prevent it from being stored in a space that's less than 4.5 inches deep. If you take those out you can fit it in a much narrower area but there is no included cardboard tube to keep them rolled up so that you can store them elsewhere. You'd have to buy one separately.This is a nice photo box to use with larger items as it has bright lighting inside, a much more durable feel than the smaller 12x12 box, and folds up thin for easy transport and storage. I just wish they could figure out a way to redesign the backdrops so that they could cover more area inside the box and also store better when folded up.I hope you found my review helpful, please let me know in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions for improvement. Picked up this box to photograph jewelry for my wife’s website. I am definitely impressed by this box. I love how it compacts and travels well and is very well built and durable for usage.Durability:The structure is ridgid and the Velcro holds together very strong. The material is high quality so I don’t have to worry about damaging.Features:The led light is super bright which is perfect for photographing jewelry. Also like how it comes with the various backgrounds for different use cases. Have only used the white so far, but the other colors will come in handy in the future. They are super easy to switch out as well. There is also holes to photograph from the top or the side so it will cover all of my needs.Photo quality:As mentioned above, the lights are super bright and balanced (not too warm or cool). Also the white backdrop is pure white so makes it easy to color balance. In the photos I’ve taken so far, the jewelry was well lit from all sides.Very impressed with this photo box and will continue putting it to good use.

My wife loves baking and sharing her work with friends through social media. So I searched the photo studio to simply use. After searching on Amazon, I decided to give this product a chance, because I have never used a similar product before (used to installed by myself). After several uses of this product. I feel quite satisfied. In addition to providing a variety of background colors, there is also the effect of led lighting, in addition, This photo shooting tent is designed to be both lightweight and sturdy and pretty easy set up. the 24' one is spacious for baking goods.Recommended!

I had this photo box delivered over 10 days ago now, I had the opportunity to test it in quiet a few environments, I don't always shoot the pictures in the same location that is the reason why I decided to get a portable photo box, and not always in controlled environment, I often go out in the woods where I can find things like small branches, leaves rocks to be used in the pictures.The external shell of the box is made of very rugged canvas, that is perfect for the use I take it to.it is also very easy to set up thanks to the velcro and the changeable backgrounds in various colors are very nice to give not always the same white back to the pictures.And last but not least, the internal led strips with solar temp light (5500 k) makes it easy to have always a perfect illumination with no color dominance.I really enjoyed the box and look forward to use it for years to come.

Right out of the box this thing gave me trouble and it had to do with the position of the velcro on the plastic backdrops (it says they're cloth in the manual but its hard plastic) the velcro was placed inwards where they fold the backdrops so you have to somehow get them to bend the other way without creasing it to get it to actually stay up or els it just droops and looks horrible you can see it in my picture. I applied velcro on the other side to get a smooth background but even then it would droop a little adding more velcro might work but i shouldnt have to fix it the company should really test these things before they sell unusable items. The lights arent all that bright and they dont have a dimmer thats a shame. Overall ive had a bad first day with this products ill give it a few more days but im most likely returning this within a week its that bad. Pay a little more and get yourself a better one if you dont want the hassle.
