Good for beginners. My daughter is 10 years old and we've been playing with the orange color balls for the last year. These green colored tennis balls are good quality and a good step to using regular tennis balls.

We have been using these balls for the practices for the last several weeks and so far it is holding pretty well. Based on the reviews that I read before purchasing these balls suggest that Wilson balls are one of the more reliable ones. I agree with those reviews.
