Stainless trowel
Medium stainless trowel, ideal for polishing off and getting in some of those tight spaces.

roughly finished
This trowel is 'ok'. Well constructed, handle is good and grippy, the gauge of steel is thinner than I thought it would be and feels halfway towards a flexible finishing trowel so I wouldn't personally class it as 'heavy duty' as advertised - its fine for multifinish but not as good for bonding coat and thicker/heavier coatings. It is 'dished-out' along the length of the trowel which is good, saves a couple of months of breaking it in that way, but, and here is my major gripe with it; the edges and centre of the blade are VERY roughly ground. You see the light streaks on the photos and this is where its supposed to be 'worn in', except that whatever they use to do that process is far too rough and the gouges and grooves that it comes with will leave marks in your plaster. Had to sand all that down for an hour in order to get it to an acceptable smoothness. Cheaper than Marshalltown but you may be better spending the xtra money on the better product.

Quality trowel
Love these trowels. They good to go straight out the box, might need a rub with sand paper if you want to polish the wall with it. Don't listen to the bad reviews about rust! ITS CARBON STEEL so it will rust if you don't dry and oil it. A carbon trowel with break in and sharpen better than a stainless but if you are a diy'er stick to stainless.
