Spot-Hogg Archery Products WGBOA Black/Purple Wise Guy Bow Release w/BOA Strap

This is probably one of the best that I have used over the years. It fits really well it tightens up very easily I like the quick release setup. It's machined very well and solid.Kind of pricey but after using this I wouldn't buy anything else.

Absolutely fantastic release. Very comfortable, the BOA strap stays out of the way, no more extra buckle straps hanging around catching on clothes. Trigger is very adjustable and the smoothest i have ever used. Easily folds back out of the way with just the right amount of resistance so it's quick, quiet and easy to get it back in place for use. Drawing is very very comfortable, strap is secure and the release itself is all smoothed over so if you are in the habit of keeping your fingers on the metal when you draw it doesn't have any sharp edges to dig in to your fingers. Releases way more straight than my old tru fire hardcore, my pins are now back centered in front of my bowstring. This has been a gamechanger for me.

I started off on a very expensive hinge release, but I could not hit consistently with it. I ordered this based on YouTube videos and recommendations. I love it! Not only am I more accurate, but very consistent. I don’t know if I would buy the B.O.A. version again just because I’m not sure it’s worth the extra money over the buckle, but I don’t mind it.

I've been using the Truefire hardcore Buckle for about 10 years but had some issues the last year with the trigger and after a lot of research I chose the Spot-Hogg Wise Guy and I was blown away by how crisp the trigger is.I like the BOA adjustments to dial in the perfect fit, the only drawback is the neoprene strap, it's not bad for a few shots but after a long day it can irritate the skin on your wrist but not enough to recommend another release.

After using this release for a year it started releasing at random times during the draw cycle. Not only is this dangerous but I also lost/broke some expensive arrows as well as giving myself a good punch to the cheek.I sent this release back to Spot Hogg for their lifetime warranty. It arrived back a couple of weeks later. It looked like nothing had been done to it. I assumed they would replace it. They did not.Within 1 day the release was once again releasing at random times during the draw cycle for both myself and another very experienced archer. This is not a case of user error. This release is dangerous and I wouldn't trust the release or the company that made it.

Easy to use quick and very high quality.

I love how soft And comfortable it is. I was using a different one and it kept hurting my hand and rubbing my skin, not with this one! And it’s purple so I love it. It seems like it will last a long time, so it’s worth the investment.

Quality product, did not fit me, I tried everything to make it work for me,back to thumb button.
