I got this for my wife. She is obsessed with her iphone and ipad so I thought this would be a good combination. And Chelsea Home Imports once again did no disappoint us! She likes the fact that you can run the ipad or the iphone at the same time that they are charging. There are complaints in the feedback from others that you can't charge both at the same time which is true but that is not big deal for us. Rarely are they both needing to be charged at the same time for us. Besides, all the other features more than make up for that very small inconvenience.Being able to wake up to her selected music is fantastic! The speakers are great for such a small unit. And the ability to use the remote while docked makes it very easy to manage her iphone with out having to try to use it directly while docked. The preset equalizer is also a very nice touch as all music is not created to be heard in the same manner. She can also listen to the radio. My wife is in heaven with her new docking station!Overall, compared to other units this is the best investment for the price!

I have a iPhone 6 plus and had high hopes for this unit. The design is nice but there are some flaws.-the fm antenna is bad. When I touch the unit I get no distortion and the volume is higher. When I'm not touching the unit, the sound is distorted and the volume is lower. This only happens when I'm listening to the radio.-iPhone 6 plus does not charge when docked or connected from the back via a charging cable.- You can't set individual days for an alarm. You would think that it'll be easy to set individual days with a new digital Apple device alarm but you can't. You can only set the alarm for weekdays or weekends. I have a meeting every Thursday at the crack of dawn and it sucks that I can't just set one alarm to any day I want.The overall unit has a nice design though. I can charge my iPad Air. I just can't charge my iPhone 6 win this. I'm not sure why since my iPad Air and iPhone 6 plus both have the same type of connector.I wouldn't recommend this for iPhone 6 owners.Update 6/10/15The LED lights burned out so i can only see half of the numbers on my clock now which pretty much makes it useless. See attached photo. I can only see part of the numbers if I look at it a perfect angle directly otherwise the top half to the numbers are blacked out. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

Was excited to get this product which is identical to a Phillips brand with the same remote and everything. Anyway, setting up I was very very disappointed since the clock itself was not functional. The clock would skip to the next minute every ten seconds. I reprogrammed it dozens of times thinking I somehow made a mistake but the clock would always count a minute for every ten seconds without fail. The other thing was that the 30 pin connector was in the front and the 8 pin in the back area which is opposite of the picture on Amazon. I wanted the 30 pin (as shown) in the back to charge my older IPad and the 8 pin for my newer IPhone 6. With the 30 pin in the enclosed area I would not have been able to charge my IPad. I would have also needed to remove my phone cover to charge every night which is annoying.

This was exactly what I wanted and works great! I wanted a dual port with a charging port for my husbands iphone 4 and my iPhone 5s. Different plugs. Also a USB plug in the back for my iPad. Remote control for when I am out of the room and want to turn up the volumn and Bluetooth. This is the only one that had it all and I looked for a couple of months and read every review. Several had 2 or 3 of the options but not all of them. It is just the right size, not as big as the ihomes I looked at and not too small. It looks very nice on my nightstand. I love it and the remote is not a cheesy model but works great. I am so glad I picked this one even if it was a little on the more expensive side, it's true you get what you pay for. I only have one complaint and that's even on its loudest level it still isn't all that loud. My old ihome that I was replacing was quite a bit louder. It has excellent sound and you can change it from pop to jazz to rock etc. and really it's plenty loud for most people but when I go into the bathroom from my bedroom it could be a little louder. I would not even take off a star for it because I love it so much. I the think this was the best of the best. It's seems very well made. I am very happy with this Chelsea clock radio, also has dual alarm clocks and you can dim the display all the way down to dark.

Buyer Beware. This is "not" Apple certified. The display will fade after 6 months, it will stop charging your iPhone, the Bluetooth will not sync and the remote won't work. After contacting and getting no where with the China Sellers cuz Chelsea said they had nothing to do with "this" stereo, I contacted Amazon and they said they will return my money in 3-5 business days but they didn't. I re-contacted them and asked why they didn't do what they said they would do, they said I owned it for more than 30+ days (policy). Do yourself a favor and forget Amazon (Amazon Prime).

This is a fantastic multipurpose device that has replaced so many other cords and appliances, it's a godsend. I no longer need a separate cord to charge my iPad, iPhone, and Android tablet. I can do it all from here with the 30 pin, Lightning, and Android connection. I no longer need my old alarm clock, because this also functions as an FM Radio with multiple alarm functions. I can even connect it to my bluetooth speakers and listen to my playlist while my iPad is charging. Even better, this device is Apple certified, so you don't have to be nagged by those warnings when you connect your iOS devices. I don't know how I got by without this for so long.
