I'll be spending Summer outside the US where urban walking is a much bigger part of daily life vs. driving everywhere. I got serious recently about finding good-looking sandals that provide support. In my case it's arch support since I have high arches.I was surprised how challenging it is to find sandals to take me thru a whole day of walking. I've tried many many styles and brands. The winners for me (remember, high arch): Naot and Reiker (Remonte) though likely neither for a full 7 or 8 hour walking day.Look: definitely attractive and versatile for casual or a little more dressed up. Not for formal in my opinion. Having so many colors available is great! I bought the light brown color; it works with many outfits.Size: This sandal is definitely narrow, but even though I always wear a medium width, it worked! Perhaps it worked because of the style. I was glad I tried it. I like the look so much, I bought two.Support: There's good support and the right amount of flex for me. I find some sandals too stiff and others too flexible to be supportive. These are also not so cushy like sandals with the deep memory foam, which doesn't work for me. Good enough to walk an hour, two or more if you're taking some breaks, but this isn't what I'll wear for a full 7 or 8 hour day walking/sight-seeing. For that I'll probably actually look at some day hikers with venting.Yes, I take my feet seriously! My Dad, who was 6'2", once worked in a shoe store as a 2nd job and never had a back problem. He attributed this to always wearing good shoes and sleeping on a good mattress.

Other reviewers warn this is a narrow sandal.This is an accurate statement.Love the style, and love NAOT, so I gave them a try regardless, as I have a thin foot.First pair I ordered was a 39, my usual sandal size in European. Too short. Too tight.Second pair was a 40. Length was perfect, but still just the tiniest bit too tight around the toe area.Otherwise, I absolutely love this sandal. Footbed cradles and supports. Very flattering.Wanted to love and keep this sandal as my go-to summer flat, but know it would not be comfortable for walking due to how constricting it felt. Was very sad to send these back.

Comfortable and not clunky looking. The only change I would make in these sandals if I were the manufacturer would be to make it so that you can tighten the sandals; pretty much the way they are with the velcro in place is as tight as you can get them. You can loosen them, but you really can't make them very tight.

Comfort and brand so good for my feet. And like the less bulky style.

I purchased narrow sandals and was surprised at the 3/4 inch gap between the top of my forefoot and the sandal. There is no way to adjust the front of the sanda.l. Also weird that the buckle kept falling out of the carrier so you have to thread it thru the carrier each time you put the sandal on. Didn’t work. If it fit your foot it would look nice.

I absolutely love, my NAOT sandals that I brought on a trip to London and Paris last August. So when I saw this style, I wanted to try it out. However, these do not fit the same at all. The label says narrow, which the footbed is. But the straps are quite wide considering and it doesn't hold my foot in the footbed very well. I actually don't truly have a narrow foot. I have more of a medium foot so anyone who is actually narrow is really going to struggle with these sandals. They're really cute. Footbed feels great but I feel like they don't stay on my feet very well with the wider fitting straps.

I think the pair I was sent from amazon was actually a used pair because the box was beat up and partly open and the shoes looked a bit worn. But i needed them for a trip and they were comfortable so I didn’t send them back. I wish they had a thicker sole with more arch and overall support for the price they cost, but in h the end they did the job. They are a bit awkward to take on and off so not ideal for places where you have to remove your shoes for only a brief period (eg visiting temples in Asia). Otherwise i think they are stylish and overall comfortable, just not for walks more than a mile or two.

I already had this in the threads color. I have flat feet, so having no arch support is perfect for me. They are elegant looking. I just bought three more pairs in different colors. Can be dressed up or down. Best sandals ever.

lovely sandals, fit perfectly, would have liked a wedge heel - but like them all the same !!!

Super confortable

The sandals fitted to perfection but there was a flaw on the leather on top near the toes, and it was quite noticeable.. I was really disappointed as I was looking so forward to having these sandals. I had to return them, because for that high price I expected them to be perfect. I may rebuy them at a later date. I must add that the service was excellent pertaining to the return of this item. My Visa was credited within 24 hours and postage was paid for.Thank you very much and may I add that this was the very first time I had to return something from Amazon.Michele zito
