Artistry in Fiber, Vol. 3: Wearable Art (Artistry in Fiber, 3)

I am the librarian for my fiber arts guild. I purchased all 3 volumes of this series for our collection, and they are spectacular. This volume focuses on wearable art, and the range of wearables included is wonderful. Each artist is presented with her (or his) brief artist statement and several very high quality photos. At the end of the book is all the contact info for the included artists as well as their gallery info, which is a really nice touch. The books are solid, drool-worthy eye candy for anyone in the fiber arts. Kudos to the editors!

I was pleased to be a featured artist. Beyond that, I am impressed with this gorgeous, high-quality book. It will thrill anyone who appreciates the artistry of distinct, well-crafted, one-of-a-kind apparel and accessories. This is a book of ideas--not how-to instructions--but it will not disappoint viewers for its eclectic and imaginative use of materials and inspiration.
