This is an amazing muzzle. My Dutch Shepherd is training for personal protection and needed a muzzle my trained referred me to Dog Sport Gear (greatest Canadian company EVER!) the muzzle is amazing quality and I have have it for many years to come. My trainer has had his for 7 years and its still amazing. It's very comfy and does it's job exceptional well. The measurements are on point. My dog is a puppy (8 mo) his measurements are 11' girth and 4'length so I decided to get the M. I don't think he will out grow it if he does I'll get the L. For now and for the next few months it fits perfectly.

We rescued a Drahthaar and working on training to be cat friendly. I did lots of research prior to purchasing this muzzle. This is genuine leather and the dog hasn't been able to get it off. The other feature we like about is no teeth are exposed. You get what you pay for and I'm glad we spent the extra money and got something quality made. When other animals lives are at stake you need to feel confident with the animal you're training. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for a new dog I just brought home. He was in serious need of trimming as his hair was matted all over his body. Since he and I were not yet well acquainted, I purchased this muzzle for my safety. First of all, the craftsmanship is superb. Unlike the other two, cheaper muzzles I tried first, Bear could not remove this one on his own. He had the other muzzles off within sixty seconds of me placing them on him.Second, my Great Pyrenees seems to be very comfortable in the muzzle. He can breath well and pant. Please note, since he is a long-haired dog, I would not leave this muzzle on him on a warm day or while exercising, or while I'm not working with him. I purchased this muzzle for trips to the vet or trimming, so I probably would not keep this on my dog for any longer than fifteen minutes or so. If you're considering a muzzle for your dog, I would recommend choosing this one if one of the available sizes fits properly. Measure first before buying. This is important.When introducing your dog to being muzzled for the first time, please review the online tutorials for the introduction. This will ease frustration and help you to have an overall good experience. It's important to introduce the muzzle with treats based on the instructions in the videos and to let your dog know that the muzzle is not a punishment.

Happy with this muzzle so far. Haven’t gotten the chance to put it to the test yet. But seems to be good quality, fits well, and is comfortable for my dog.
