DIFFICULT to install, but very smooth and fast to ride!
Great tires so far, very smooth ride and surprisingly good traction even though they appear to be extremely slick. However, installing them was NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. I can totally understand the other reviews of people who said they couldn't install them or thought they were the wrong size. It took my husband and I working together in order to get them on the rims, and even then I feared we were going to break them. Wow. If you're not sure what you're doing, you might want to take them to your local bike shop for installation.Got a quick test ride in when it was dry and they were fast and smooth. I also got to ride in a downpour the next day and they were very solid. I was very worried that the lack of physical tread would mean they would get very unstable and slick on wet pavement, but they were great. I'm confident these should last a long time.

Seems like a really quality tire for the price
Seems like a really quality tire for the price... Hard as you know what to fit on my rim at 27 1 1/4 inch really kind of took the fun out of it I've got a 1981 Japanese Miyata touring bike trying to upgrade/replace tires. The 27 1 1/8 inch tires have the same 630 bead width I'm going to try this on my front tire just seemed like a lot of tire to get in my rim at the 27 1 1/4 inch size even though that's what I've been using all year...ill update my review later but as for now I can only give a 3 or a 4 because of the difficulty getting on the rim. The quality seems a bit better than my CSTs...but you'll need patience strong hands and a decent tire lever...

Very nice tires
I'm not well-seasoned in the world of road bike tires but I found myself very happy with these before I had to sell the bike. I had these at 100 psi and they had a very low rolling resistance, smooth ride, and lots of grip. Some of the nicest tires I have tried to date. I was impressed that I found myself more comfortable cornering even harder than I do on my commuter bikes. I did not have the chance to try these in wet weather since I had the choice of many full-fendered bikes on rainy days. If I don't find anything better below $50, I'll gladly come back to these tires for a road bike.

Unreliable
This tire seemed like a good buy. It's easy to install. It rides very fast, very smooth. However, it says on the tire anti-punture and that's simply not true. In fact, it's extremely vulnerable to punctures due to the smooth surface of the tire. I got a puncture after about 500 miles, first season, so a very young tire. Not only did something get through the tire, the wire braid on the inside was damaged and produced many NEEDLE-LIKE spikes that shredded my tube. Whatever the foreign object was, it didn't stay in the tire. Total failure. Before this tire I rode classic Pana-racers 2000+ miles, I wish I bought a set of those. Now I'm just waiting for the other tire to fail. I can't give this better than 2 stars. 1 star for being a tire and 1 star for being fast. Not reliable, poor design and expensive.

Five stars for puncture resistant
I bought these tires in May 2013, now have 600 miles on the set. I have picked up thorns (goat heads) with these tires but they do not penetrate into the tube. I have stopped four times and removed thorns but have not had a flat tire. I would recommend these tires to anyone that lives in a area with tire hazards. The only negative thing about these tires is there weight. they are heavy and I can really feel it. They handle fine for the way I ride. I ride my bike everyday, rain or shine, average about 50 miles per week and ride on gravel, dirt, and pavement. Great tires just what I was looking for.

Looks sturdy and slick
This has to be the hardest tire I ever installed on a bike, I broke a tire bar and bent a metal tire bar. If you don’t know what you’re doing take it a LBS. For now it seems like a good tire, I’ll update my review as I ride them a little more.

Bomb proof from what I can tell
Very pleased with these tires so far. Great traction and seem to be bomb proof. Have a couple hundred miles on them thus far and no issues in the least. Others spoke to the difficulty in getting them on the rim, while they were not easy, not nearly as bad as other made out to be. If you have any experience changing road bike tires/tubes you will have no issue.

***MUST TAKE TO A BIKE SHOP TO INSTALL***
Good tires... Almost impossible to put on yourself. If you don't have profession equipment for putting on bike tires, don't bother trying to put these on. Save your time and frustration and just take them to a bike shop and watch them struggle with it. Bike tires shouldn't be this difficult to install. I'm fact, over the many times I've installed tires, these have by far been the worst.

Comfy ride (32mm tire)
Initial impressions after a short ride: Nice cushy ride even good on sidewalk. Installation was good, I did use one tire lever to get the last bit on. Looks like a good durable tire and nice appearance. I don't race or go extremely far, mostly to ride to work and leasure.
