Overall good product, not too bright just enough to see at night for an LED type

Excellent Low profile Design, Low Power Consumption, and Better Light Output then Halogen Bulbs!
The first H7 set that I received were defective and the initial review was based on that. DriveVision sent me a replacement set and they are fully functional now, thus this, initially negative, review has been amended to represent the current fully functional product.I've purchased two sets, H7 and H4, but since Amazon doesn't allow me to leave a separate reviews for the different models, this review covers both the H7's in Projector housing and H4's in Reflector housing.Projector housing Car: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT, H7 - Low Beam projector housingReflector housing Car: 2000 Infiniti G20, H4 - Dual filament reflector housingThe Good:- Low Price! These cost as much as a set of halogen bulbs, which makes it a no-brainer when you need replacement bulbs anyway.- They seem to be well built and don't feel cheap (doesn't feel like cheap plastic/metal like some cheaper LED's tend to be).- Brighter and whiter then Halogen bulbs, but don't expect these to be much brighter like more expensive LED's are. This is an entry level kit, made to be a cheaper alternative to stock bulbs.- White Color with no hints of blue. If I had to guess these are about 5k in color, which is perfect for those of us that don't want unnecessary attention.- They are fanless, driverless, and are really compact; they fit well in my headlight housing and have plenty of room for the dust cover.- Low Power Consumption. I measured 1.25 Amps at 14.5v on H7 set (18 watts), and 0.95 Amps at 14v on H4 set (13 watts). That's 3-4x less consumption then a standard 55 watt bulb. This leads to lower alternator draw and measurable fuel economy (MPG) improvements.- LED's are on the same level as the bulb's filament, this one is really important for proper beam pattern and avoids blinding oncoming traffic- Attachment point is easy to remove, making for a very easy install, just twist them in place.Housing Specific:In H7 Projectors:- Brighter than the Halogen bulbs, but they are not earth shattering bright, like much more expensive kits, but they are not designed to be that bright (especially at this price point). In H4 Reflectors:- They are much brighter then stock halogens and about as bright as Silverstar Ultra's, this is great since they are half the cost of Silverstars and should last longer then a year...- The beam pattern seems to be on part with stock bulbs, refer to pictures, and actually led me to discover that the beam pattern on my Beamtech H4's is real bad and has been blinding oncoming traffic. The Bad:- The hot spot is a bit brighter on the halogens compared to these.

Apparently great product but potentially unusable (Subaru Legacy 2012)
Is this a 1- or 5-star review? Lamps arrived on schedule, professionally packaged, and the build quality looks above expectation. The light is a non-blue-white and was bright enough that I don't intend to look at them again. Folks who have a Legacy/Outback know there's a special place in Hell for the low-beam designer. Tired of $50/yr (or $75 every 2yrs) and determined to leave the wheel well liners in place for the life of the car, I figured LEDs would be the ticket. Again, these (probably under-priced) lamps literally fit the bill in all but the most important way: They don't fit. Possibly, in a "remove the front bumper" replacement scenario, there might be a fix - and maybe I'll update - but the tension spring arm (on the wire retainer) catches in the heat sink fins, preventing proper indexing and seating. It looks like it will require the headlight assembly fully removed, then seat the lamp ring, and hope the indexing notch at 8 o'clock is close enough for the lamp at 9 o'clock. I'm not convinced proper beam alignment could be achieved. Again, minus the Subaru "through the well" compatibility- and limited indexing adjustment problems, there is absolutely nothing wrong with these lamps. So, if you don't have a Subaru, go for it! For me, I'll wait until a friend needs a set of H7s or someday remove the front of the car.

They do a good job for the money invested.
Bought this to replace a HID setup (9007). First impression was the LED is not as bright. The LED is pure white while my HID is slightly blue. The LED is brighter than any halogen bulb I have, so still an upgrade over stock. I noticed the LED didn't scatter light like the HIDs. Oncoming traffic will be happy. I tested the high beams in my driveway and I wasn't pleased. I saw only a slight variation in light intensity and direction over the low beams. I went on a test drive to see how the LEDs perform. The low beam illuminated the road just in front of the vehicle without blinding other drivers. Everything was clearly visible. I tested the high beam and now I can tell the difference. Things lit up down the road I couldn't see with the lows. The light intensity increase was more pronounced. I felt better about my purchase after seeing these results. Now we just wait and see how long they last.

Compact and solid, quality is good.
After replacing my current halogen bulbs 3 times in 3 years, I ordered these DriveVision DXQ2000 H7 bulbs based on their much longer life span. I also like the white light of the LED bulbs as compared to the yellow tint of the halogen. They were really easy to install given their compact short base design with no fan like most LED replacement bulbs. They are not as bright as some other LED bulbs but were more cost effective given the lower price point which is similar to standard halogen. They seem solid and I’m looking forward to the longevity and not having to make frequent replacements in the future.

Bright white light... BUT don't believe the "no radio interference" claim.
Once I got these installed, and my housings adjusted properly, I'm pretty happy with the light output.Installation instructions were poor, but once I figured out the one piece has to be removed and installed into the housing first, it wasn't hard. There IS however radio interference. Stations that used to come in clearly from Indianapolis (I'm about 15 miles south) are full of static now, with the lights on.This is on my 2002 Ford truck with factory radio. I'm not real high tech, and listen to FM radio often, so this was a big deal. I specifically asked about this, and numerous people replied "No" to my question. Makes me question the validity of some of the reviewers on amazon.I'm enough of a handyman that I'm going to get some ferrite coils and try those out and see if it helps.I will update my review with my results.Update... I added a bunch of ferrite coils... Helpes some, but still not completely. I also have a new aftermarket stereo, and it still gets interference. I'll be swapping these headlight bulbs back out for some non-LED bulbs.
