My mom loved this package, she doesn't care for chocolate, believe it or not. But dried fruits and nuts, she loves that stuff. She is hard to buy for cause she has everything she needs. But a tasty treat that last a while, yup, she enjoyed the heck out of this gift

The first thing that i did after I opened the packaging was to place the product in the refrigerator .Later that day,I unwrapped the dried fruit group and put it on a large oval serving dish/platter. There isa plastic sheet under the fruit to protect the wooden tray. Remember -refrigeration helps keep the dried fruit fresh -last a long time.We use toothpicks when we decide upon our selected choice.There were so many dried fruit products to choose from = this was a good choice. - Some additional info ...I found that the dried apples to be a little flat,almost rubbery : there are more apples than any other fruits. I wonder what brand of apples were used to dry? Perhaps the company should have used/tries the "Delicious" brand of apples. Well, there is a way around fruit that is disappointing in taste : use those dried fruits in cooking soups,stews.grilling,etc, ,to add flavor to your meal. For soups you only need a couple of apple slices since you need to cut the slices in small piecesbecause the pieces will puff out ,and they float. we use a pressure cooker for soups ( chicken,turkey, beef -for beef soup use shank beef...you can add potatoes to the soup). Or if you are frying a meal,even a sweet piece of dried fruit can add to the flavor of your meal. Do I still say 5 stars? - maybe 5 3/4 stars .

The packaging and the fruit arrangement was very different and seemed unkempt in comparison to what’s shown in the produxt details.Also the fruits very extremely sweet ( due to addition of sugar) due to the preservation and processing. So, not recommended for kids or people who have diabetes.

Family really enjoyed it

I have ordered from Nut Cravings previously and have been pleased. This order, for my husband's birthday, was terrible. The coated pecans and peanuts were both terrible, stale, old tasting.Brazil nuts rancid. Apricots were tough. The cashews and pistachios are edible/acceptable. And of course Amazon has no warranty on food items. NO SELL/USE BY DATE on the packages but there was one on the shipping box.

It's dried fruit was the best I've tasted in a very long time. It's very fresh sweet and tasty. Plus it's very well packaged and with the nuts individually packaged inside away from the fruit. I do recommend this seller and product for gifting.

Looked better in the picture. Skimpy for a gift.

Made a wonderful bday gift

I thought this contained dried fruit as described. But no fruit in the package . Very disappointed. X
