Martha Stewart Paper Trimmer

This is the second cut and score board I purchased. The first is from a different manufacturer and works well but is larger. I can fit this one on my desk top.I was having problems with making cuts that started and ended in the middle of the paper because I couldn’t see where I was cutting. This board is much better for that task. The slide bar is clear, has a ruler on it, and a magnifying area.The cutting feature of this board is comparable to other similar products and is accurate. I have only cut paper and light weight card stock with it.The area that this board falls short is the score board. The grooves aren’t deep enough and aren’t close enough together to make it useful. Oh and you need to swap out the cutting blade for the scoring tool.For the price it’s great if you don’t need a score board. I plan to use it as a desk top cutting board for lighter weight paper and save the other board for heavy cardstock and scoring.

The cutting tool works amazingly well on both simple paper and regular cardstock. The rulers are accurate within less than a millimeter, which is plenty good for paper crafting. I bought the tool mostly for its ability to start and end a cut midway; I make a lot of gift boxes these days, and cutting the tabs with a pair of scissors was often hit or miss.The one disappointing aspect, and reason for the 4-star rating, is the scoring tool. It's really quite weak. If you have never used a scoring board, this may work for you and certainly beats creating folds by hand. Even when pressing the tool down quite forcefully, neither paper nor cardstock take on a particularly deep crease. A positive aspect would be that you cannot possibly rip the paper with this scoring tool ...For the price, this is a decent paper trimmer for both full-length slicing & dicing, as well as more intricate jobs requiring well-controlled cut lengths within a piece of paper or cardstock. Replacement blades can be had for a handful of dollars from your local craft store (Michaels, for example).

Super smooth, straight cuts. My only wishes are that (1) a second blade holder was included, or that replacements were available for purchase separately, so that both the blade and the scorer could sit in the unit; and (2) it would be easier to cut at 1/4" from the edge.There is a bit of a learning curve and it's perfect if you are cutting the same thing over and over again because once you have the knack for what you are cutting, it will be perfectly accurate every time.

This is a nice cutter. I love the scoring blade used for folding materials. Blade is not the best. I haven’t used it much and the blade is already becoming dull and not cutting as deep as it did when it was new. I have only used it to cut regular printing paper and some medium weight card stock. Would have given this product a 5 star but I will have to replace the cutting blade sooner than I have on my Fiskar cutting accessories.

Super easy to use, cuts really well through vinyl and faux leather. The little storage compartment on the back to hold the blades is awesome except the door on mine broke off after 3 uses. It might have been unwieldy or I was rough somehow, but I keep the blades elsewhere now.

I’d steer clear of this trimmer. I can only find the replacement blades at a michaels store that is 45 minutes away from me and have had no luck finding any online to order. This comes with just one blade and a scoring attachment. It’s not accurate either. You think you’re cutting a straight edge only to find that the plastic is off slightly so when you lay it up against said plastic to make your cut it gives you a slightly diagonal edge. So annoying. You’re better off buying a Fiskars brand trimmer. They’re reliable and the replacement blades are easy to find pretty much anywhere. Don’t bother with this, it’s cheap for a reason.

Big enough that it’s sturdy, small enough to be easy to store and use anywhere. Love the scoring blade - very easy to work with.

Martha Stewart products never disappoint. I purchased this as a replacement for the one I use very frequently because the replacement blade are too expensive. As luck would have it I found the replacement blades at Michaels for a reasonable price shortly after I received my new trimmer.

La mejor ! Y la compré a un súper precio !! Vale la pena cada centavo . Corta y marca . Ideal para crear “ventanas” en cartulinas o álbum de scrap ya que su regla mide hacia un lado y hacia abajo , tus trabajos serán muy exactos . Cambiar de una cuchilla a otra es lo más fácil del mundo , trae su pequeña base cada una para que jamás estés en contacto con las navajas directamente , solo presionas y deslizas !Tengo también la we r memory , pero está es mi favorita por mucho ! Mucho más exacta y el doblez es lo mejor , de la otra se me deforma el plástico que marca los dobleces y maltrata mis trabajos.

Llego antes de tiempo bien cerrada empaquetada.. Aun no la utilizo. Corta bien y marca bien, las marcas no las hace tan pronunciadas pero aun así se ve el dobles

Bueno la marca es garantía de compra; esta cortadora no ofrece 12 pulgadas; sin embargo es fácil adaptarse a ella; los cortes son muy limpios.Incluye la navaja y accesorio para plegado.

Esta cortadora tiene numeración en centímetros, es práctica y corta adecuadamente. La adquirí en promoción con muy buen precio en comparación con otras marcas. Llegó en buen estado y rápidamente.

Excelente producto, está guillotina la recomiendo ampliamente, tiene medidas en cm y en pulgadas, eso es maravilloso ya que de otras marcas sólo traen en pulgadas
