Not Birch!
I'm a pyrography artist and use these panels for custom pet portraits. I use birch wood for the variety of tones and consistency of the burn. These burn terribly, leave a horrible finish and smell awful. They are greenish in tone and there is absolutely no way they are made of birch.Spend a few extra dollars and get a different brand.I'm upset because I have orders to fill with a deadline and this has slowed me down/cost me money.

Awesome boards
These worked great for displaying my handmade necklaces. I painted them and added knobs to the top. Finished off with metal detail on the bottom corners. They are very well made.

Really bad experience with this birch wood
I Don'tknow what happend to this. I ordered one set of 2. One is really good. Already used it. Today i opened the another one ans saw this. Really really in very bad condition. It was ruptured in back side. I gifted another one to my friend. And he also said his one also ruptured the back side. It was really embarrasse. Because i drawn their wedding picture. Its reaaly bad to me.
