Wish I had ordered this sooner, instead of trying to manipulate my remote into working by holding my arm out & moving it from side to side, top to bottom, etc. Only 1 yr old so I thought no way could it be dead this soon. Tried new batteries, tried moving the new batteries around. I shake my head when I think of the time & energy I devoted trying to make the old remote work when I could have paid $6.99 & had instant remote right out of the box. No set up. Thank you to the manufacturer, seller, & Amazon.

This replacement looks exactly like the original remote control which came with the TV some eight years ago (and no longer works). With the addition of batteries, it immediately worked--turning the TV on and off and adjusting the sound level. The price is also very inexpensive. Hopefully, the remote will continue to operate well for the next few years.
