so I love to experiment with hair "gear" - these looked too fun not to try out. I have thick curly hair, 3a -ish... I've been going gray, naturally, for about 2 yrs now too so the texture of my hair has been in transition for some time but I'm loving it too :) These Spoolies are easy - I got the jumbo sized since I wanted to try and make more volume in my curls, sort of enlongate them a bit or just make bigger curls out of them ... I have to say, I've been having fun using them - they're super easy, it's nice not having clips and other "things" to have to use with them. I would recommend a spray or something on your hair before applying them - they're silicone - so they can 'grab' your hair a bit.... I like them on dry hair, but on wet hair they worked pretty well too - I still have to experiment with what products work better with them, maybe less product is better. I did get fuller curls, but I still to do some more "playing" with them to find a smoother curl ...

This is exactly what I was looking for followed the step by step video put these on dried hair slept with them in the morning they were super curly but since my hair doesn’t hold a curl I just brushed my fingers through and gave me a nice beach wave that lasted all day will be buying another set. Perfect since I don’t have time in the morning to mess with the curling iron that doesn’t create a lasting curl...these do!!!

They were pre-used, they had someone else’s hair is all of the pieces. In addition, they do not work! They make your hair super crazy, not cute curls what’s so ever. Do not waste your money.

They are sticky to hair so taking them out isn't pain free. Tried to apply them then sleep - no way. Too uncomfortable.My hair is long and I've not found a way to use them without looking like a space alien for most of the day.

I was excited to try these out... they are easy to use but unfortunately they hurt and pull your hair out a bit when removing them if your hair is dry/damp. You have to put small pieces of hair as they aren't that big and actually I get a better curl doing a "pin curl" w/bobby pins. Same amount of time whether using these or bobby pins. I probably should've returned them...oh well, already used.

I did not use Spoolies on wet hair, but it did a wonderful job with my dry hair. I spelt comfortably the nights I used them.
