Better quality
Having had one of these fail, I spent more could visually see the better quality of the housing, contacts, etc.When it comes to charging an EV, you’ll pull high current for a long time. This isnt the sort of thing you want to use a cheap socket for.

Delivered as promised and on time
Typical to this product the restraining feature is greater than others and works as designed. Other than the heavy cable it is easy to install but that is the nature of 4 wire 50 Amp cable. I also like the hand hold that makes removal from the power feed easy since it appears to be balanced. Just to clarify I'm replacing another brand of plug that the cable strain feature didn't work as required thus allowing the strain to be placed on the wire connections that failed and disconnected the power as it melted the lugs to the outer body.

Was a little difficult to find for me but was well worth it.
I used this on my cord for a two stage 100 gallon air compressor. It was very easy to install and I love the fact that I can unplug the compressor when I am not using it now.

Works like a champ!
Took about 5 minutes to install. Needed to change a plug on a heater. This worked.

Excellent quality... I am going to use this to hook up my travel trailer. Mounted in a waterproof electrical box on the outside wall of my garage.

worth it
i use this for a large machine, i connected it to a 50amp cord, had to do wiring,. the metal pieces inside this are somewhat easliy bendable, but it has been working for some time for me, so it has been worth it.
