Easy to set up, works without failure
This installed quite easily on my Hornady LNL single stage press using a single screw. It was easy to position properly without opening instruction manual. I haven't had any issues feeding primers as long as the Primer Feed was positioned properly and the screw was sufficiently tightened. If you aren't cleaning primer pockets every time you shoot, then this device saves quite a lot of time since resizing, depriming, and repriming are all done in one step.100% recommend getting this just in case it can ever save you time...even if it doesn't save you time every time you reload.

Profoundly disappointed
This really seemed like the perfect solution. I installed this on a Hornady Classic Press. It did not perform as advertised out of the box. I certainly don't fault the distributor - after all, it is a Hornady product designed to work with a Hornady product - what could go wrong? IMHO, this is the worst designed, worst constructed and / or worst assembled product I have encountered in years. When first installed according to directions, either no primers would drop or all of them would. The spring assembly that was supposed to control this operation would not float freely on the aluminum frame resulting in no primers dropping or all of them dropping at once. After removing and reinstalling the spring, I was able to get one primer to drop MOST of the time. However, the primer often ended up in the primer cup on its side or, in several cases, upside down (and yes, I was using the proper tube). Many other times, two, three, ten primers would all drop at once. It took me longer to use this device to insert a primer (with significantly more failures) than it did when I primed separately by hand. I am amazed Hornady put their name on this product. I do not recommend this product for use with the Classic press. Perhaps it works with the Progressive press, but I would never buy it again.

Great product
Just started reloading a few months ago as a hobby. These work great once you get them set up and adjusted. I spent about 30 minutes trying to get it just right.Everything works great, but the spring that holds the primers could be a little stiffer. The ones I have some times let out 2 primers before stopping the 3rd. Both of my tubes do this, but not all the time just every 10 or twelve primers. No big deal I can deal with that for the speed that is added to the reloading. Actually getting ready to order the large ones now for reloading my 44 mag and 30/06

After a minor spring adjustment, it’s worth it
I like the simplicity of the device, and the time it has already saved me in loading primers. My advice: Load a few primers in a tube, slide it into the metal frame, and pull the retainer “pin”. If primers start coming out willy-nilly, then remove the little spring and adjust it with needle-nose pliers. After a VERY minor adjustment and reassembly, the spring held the primers in place (for me). Then proceed to assemble it per the instructions and it’ll work like a champ. The little spring adjustment is crucial to it working properly, but worth it in the long run; especially if you have failing eyesight and shaky fumbly fingers that come with age.

Warning, don’t do it.
Listen, I don’t want to be negative. But don’t buy this product. I gave the 5 stars a chance and they let me down. This thing is $50 made out of $8 worth of material. It will take time making it work, and that won’t guarantee that it even will. The spring that holds the primers is an absolute joke. When it fails, 95 % of the time. You’re looking at 20 plus primers spilling out across the floor. I wish it worked. You’ve been warned.

Don't think about it, just buy it.
Read through a lot of reviews on this, a lot of don't buy it because it takes too much time to figure out how to get it to work properly. You are literally doing a task that takes large amounts of time and if you take a little bit of that time to set this up then this in turn saves you lots of time. As far as ease of use or ease of setting up, opened the box, read the instructions and started priming. Thats it. Thought it was a fluke so finished a run of small primers and switched to large pistol primers. Still worked everytime, from opening box to leaving this review I've done a couple hundred of small and large pistol and i have not had a hiccup so i am giving it 5 stars and saying its a good buy.

Very Fussy
I have given up trying to get this to work. I have spent too much time trying to get a very fussy contraption to work as it is intended to. I think the weakest part of this is the spring which is very small and fits into a narrow channel. Mine binds pretty reliably because the channel it fits into is so narrow. The spring must operate freely to work correctly but it also must be adjusted as to height or it will either not feed or double feed. It is very consistent in its operation. If it is double feeding, it will do so every time. If it isn’t dropping a primer, it will fail to do so every time. That is why I have given it 3-stars even though I could not get it to work. It is possible that with enough patience and some serious luck, you can get it operating correctly. I did have it working correctly for the majority of one tube of primers. When I removed the tube and replaced it full of primers, it stopped working again.I gave up when it started both double feeding and sending the primers in crossways (see photo). This is not even listed as a problem that has a solution.Enough. It is time to find something that works. I will add I’m not terribly impressed with the Hornady press either but that is for a different review.
