Not For Gaming - Also ML Review
While I did not purchase this card to own. I have rented it before, review though is to help1. Uninformed people that think this falls into the same type of GPU that is used for gaming. While this is technically a GPU, it is does not have the architecture that is used for high frame rate gaming, nor are the drivers designed to properly utilize this GPU for gaming.2. For those who may be seeking to use this for ML and building their own build. Buying your build is definitely way cheaper than renting from X cloud company. THOUGH it should be heavily researched beforehand the type of ML research/modeling you plan on doing. As the throughput of a 3090 or 4090 will absolutely destroy this GPU for models that don't require high memory like a LLM. Even then it is potentially better to run a 3090 with NVLink setup. 8x 1080 setup could even be on par with the throughput for a V100.Bottom line is, this is an amazing piece of silicon if you purchase it for the right things.

Doesn't work in X99 Desktop Motherboards
Dear colleagues,We've been using Tesla cards on Microsoft Azure VMs for about 2 years. Our main application is CST EM simulations. We ordered this V100 32gb board and tried it in three computers.Asus X99 motherboard: Did not boot in any PCIe configuartion.Gygabyte X99 motherboard: Did not boot in any PCIe configuartion.Asus X299 motherboard w/ i9-9900x: Booted and recognized in Windows 10.In the end, we ended up returning the board since it didn't work in our workstations. The X299 motherboard was promising -- so try it out.Best regards,Dmitry

Keep in mind
I wanted to write a review because I keep seeing other people write about how few frames they are getting from it. As I saw one complain about his 3090 as well. It you aren't getting frames or the performance you would like, ur CPU could be holding it back

This will not help your gaming. This is for AI graphics videos etc.
Good price for what it is.

Not as much power as I was anticipating
This card overall, a disappointment. I bought to help it my rtx 3090 run Crysis at max settings. There was practically no difference so I thought maybe a second tesla card all linked in SLI would be better. Nope. Two more cards later and Crysis still can't surpass 75 FPS. I'm running out of organs to sell to front the payments on these cards, you'd think nvidia would know how to make a card run one simple video game. I guess I'll need to get some more organs from people :(
