Rich scent ... lasts a long time ... the lady loves it (and she knows her scented candles). This brand is a keeper after checking out three scents; this has become a regular in our list of favorite candles.

This was ordered though I had never experienced this particular scent. Oh my, it does not disappoint. think of floral but add green rushes along a riverbank. The scent takes me "outdoors" in a refreshingly pleasant way. I have picked a rose and I am walking along the edge of a river. I will definitely purchase this scent over and over again.I have always felt most candles are overpriced BUT, that said, I will not let that stop me from buying Votivo. Best scented candles available.

This is one of the most pleasant lavender scents I've had in my house. You can smell it even when the candle isn't lit, but it's not a powdery or cloying scent. It's just true lavender and it smells clean and relaxing. The candle burns slowly but for a long time each use. It reforms easily and looks great in it's thick glass jar. Can't recommend this one enough.

I typically meditate every evening for 30 to 60 minutes. Votivo candles burn evenly, resulting in the full use of the wax. I often extinguish the candle immediately after my meditation. With shorter burn times, I find other candles suffer severe tunneling, which wastes much of the candle. Votivo candles can be more expensive, but provide a better return on investment. I also find their scent to be subtle and not overpowering.

I ordered Moroccan Fig and on a scale of 1-10, the scent is a so faint, it’s a1. But they included a sample tin of Bamboo and it’s scent is so strong it’s a 10. Perhaps the Moroccan Fig is old? It’s in a glass jar without a lid. Maybe the scent oils evaporated before shipping? The bamboo is a pretty floral scent. I lit the Moroccan Fig thinking it might release the scent but honestly it’s a zero. Can’t smell a thing. It’s a very very expensive unscented candle. I’m truly disappointed. I was so looking forward to this that I was tracking the shipment and couldn’t wait for it to get here. I especially was interested in the cedar tones as cedar is known for its relaxation qualities, so the fact the bamboo is a nice surprise addition, it doesn’t make up for it. Very sad and I don’t know about all their candies but I would skip Moroccan Fig for sure. I gave it a two for packaging and a nice double wick. Thinking longevity might be a possibility. Except I have to wait that long to buy one with a scent then. Sigh. So disappointed.

Ok let me sate first that this candela DOES have good throw. I bought the wood amber version and it was plenty to keep a 1,000 ft down stairs room well scented.The Con: there’s only 1- the wick! I forgot that this brand uses a wick that has metal inside the cotton. I will be retiring to Trapp candles for this reason. I don’t know why Votivo does this. I need a cleaner burning candle and this wick isn’t clean due to the thin metal like wire running the length of the cotton wick.Otherwise the scents are good and have throw.

The throw on these is incredible, and Moroccan Fig is just a delightful scent. It’s warm and rich, and sort of floral/fruity with a hint of wood/spice. It’s hard to describe the scent because it’s so deep and complex, and I absolutely love it. It’s a good scent to gift to anyone of any gender, it’s neither stereotypically feminine nor masculine. And the glass jar is very sturdy and weighty, great for multiple uses after you enjoy the candle.

I’ve been buying this candle— Votivo Red Currant for 20 years. It’s my favorite candle of all time. Well I bought this one in November and it’s basically scentless! There’s so little scent I had to make sure I didn’t have Covid. Massive disappointment. I bought this direct from Votivo so I assume they must have changed the formula.
