I have had this brush for over a year and still has no sign of wear. None of the teeth has broken off and as a male, it treats my long hair fine and almost never rips out hair.My only complaint is how it builds up dust faster than usual. I know it depends on your hair and how its kept. So this comment is subjective and I don't want to make this a biased review. But the dust is a bit harder to remove than it is on my previous brushes.Overall, you will be satisfied with this purchase

Finally!!!!! I have been searching and searching (for years) for a good brush to replace my 30 year old brush that my wife wanted to retire. Too big, too small, too weak, too firm, too scratchy. I have thick hair and I guess a sensitive scalp and nothing was a good enough to replace the 30 year old brush that I stole from my dad as a teenager. Finally, because rubber rot was starting to consume the old brush, I made a final last ditch effort to find a replacement brush and after finding and trying this brush I have found the Holy Grail of hair brushes. Finally, with a tear in my eye, I can give the proper retirement of Viking floating funeral pyre to the brush of days past. Long live the PureGlo brush! You have saved my life and my hair.

This is a good product, but I wouldn't recommend it for thick hair. I love the weight, texture and size of the brush. Downside is the thick bristles and rounded tips seem to prevent this from getting through all of my hair to my scalp. A brush with finer teeth would probably work better.

My hair is very thick and frizzy, its very hard to find a good brush, but for the most part, this brush works, no miracles, but it does what it says.

I love it because its soft and you don't feel like its pulling your hair.

One of the bristles broke off literally after one use. It’s nice that it comes with three replacement bristles but it’s not the easiest thing switching them out (remove with pliers and push the new one in at an angle with a kind of “scooping” motion). Good quality otherwise I guess, but we’ll see how long it lasts.

Awesome brush! It provides strong brushing capability, while moving smoothly through your hair without pulling.

I purchased this brush because I borrowed a similar one from a friend and absolutely loved it. However when I recieved the brush, it was soooo small. Its more like a child's brush than anything functional for my thick hair.
