Great value
Great value. Much cheaper than buying the newspaper just for the puzzles

Good Mix
Puzzles are adequately hard, medium and easy. I need a hard one sometimes to keep my brain oiled. The mediums are for regular days, and of course, I must have an easier one for the days when greedy politicians stomp on the freedoms out forefathers ordained that have worked so well. Some complain about the "newsprint-like" quality of paper, but I much prefer it because it's perfect for ink. I wish more Sunday Omnibus puzzle books were printed on this paper.I'm sure the few complainers who don't like this paper have to be those who work with pencil and eraser.

Great puzzles & lightweight user-friendly paperback, & bigger clue font than before!
I'm so addicted to crossword puzzles that I order the next volume before I've even finished the previous 200 puzzles in current volume. I lived in L.A. for many years & the Los Angeles Times has always been my favorite newspaper, so it's really fun to get some of the answers since they make many clues related to L.A. stuff! Don't let that stop you if you're not a Californian! Wonderful puzzles, neither too easy nor too difficult. Also like that it's paperback AND that the font of clues is finally larger - I used to mis-read the previous tiny font often even w/ reading glasses on.

Most puzzles are a good challenge- some are no good

Not especially hard crosswords
My error and I returned it. I thought the LA Times would follow the NY Times convention of cranking up the difficulty as the week went on, but these are clearly marked medium difficulty and fell short of the challenge needed for my quite expert crossword puzzler gift recipient.
